Stayed the 6th of December 2025 for a weekend. Great & safe place as a female traveler. Beds were very comfy, rooms & bathrooms were sufficient. Robes & slippers & eye mask & all the extras were a nice touch, including free tampons in restroom. Price was excellent. Within walking distance of everything. We covered 15 miles in 2 days! Lots of restaurants within walking distance & open late. Felt very safe out, but I was with my husband. I was on the 3rd floor, he was on the 4th. I booked him months ahead. I unexpectedly was able to have the weekend off & booked myself at now now as well. No regrets! I slept well, temperature was a little warm for us but a fan is helpful to travel with. I did hear doors Opening & shutting but it's expected especially if you need to use the restroom. Everyone including guests were very friendly and respectful. They had security outside the doors, its very safe. No issues except guests who do not follow the rules. Headphones not used (maybe offer ear buds for purchase at front desk while going over the rules) & talking on the phone at 2am, ridiculously rude. Im assuming it was a language barrier as maybe they dont understand the rules at check in possibly. I did message front desk & unfortunately it wasn't addressed. Wear earplugs, some people are plain rude and just refuse to follow rules, there's always one. Definitely worth staying & id stay again.

Room is the size of a closet but surprisingly clean and cozy. It made me spend more time out and about. The hotel is in a good location, easy to walk places or take the train. Overall good experience

The design and vibe of the hotel take inspiration from its more expensive neighbours. I was worried about sharing a bathroom, but it was absolutely fine, and ended up having that nice social element of a hostel or a gym changing room that gets lost when staying in a regular hotel. I didn't once queue for the showers or toilets, and both provide 100% privacy as they are completely enclosed. It's only the sinks that are open. The only disconcerting element was that the pods weren't enclosed, so sound travels really easily from pod to pod. I heard one girl knock on a guy's pod and ask him to use his earphones as he was playing a video on his phone for all to hear. Now Now is perfect for solo travellers who appreciate a certain aesthetic and vibe but don't want to pay the crazy prices for a hotel room in Manhattan.

My toiletry ball was stolen from my room and the staff told me that they would call if someone found it. It has prescription medIcation in it that the house keeping staff that spoke no english more than likely took it. The bag itself was $60, plus cosmetics and brushes it was well over $100 worth of items. Gone. Horrible experience that brought the total price of this glorified closet up to a normal hotel room.

Was suppose to be on an all female floor, and found men walking the halls and in the bathroom. Additionally, I opt in for the premier cabin where I was suppose to receive a free rental for each day of my stay and was told they were “out”. Was also suppose to have a safe in my room, which I did not. When I confronted the staff about this they said that “not all the rooms have safes” and did not allow me to switch to a room with a safe. Staff was not very friendly or accommodating. This places has rules about no external noise and food which I followed but my neighbors did not which was both annoying and disappointing. You can forget and packing and unpacking considering you can barely turn around in these “cabins”. There is also no temperate control so you’ll wake up in the middle of the night sweating or freezing. Lastly the stairs are a pain a***..tripped 2 times during my three day stay. I’m not the type to write reviews, but felt the need to advise others to find accommodations elsewhere.

This is hostel with really cute branding. I’ve stayed in Pod hotels before and here are the pros/cons and differences between the two: Pros: 1. convenient location directly across street from The Bowery Hotel (which is $$$$$) 2. Easy walk to the train and great shopping and restaurants. 3. Bed was comfy, room was cute, lockers to store stuff 4. staff was friendly 5. Never had an issue needing bathroom or shower. They were always open when I needed! 6. Was really nice of them to provide white noise machine and ear plugs/eye mask and slippers for the walk to the bathroom, as well as a cute tote to carry toiletries. Cons: 1. There are no ceilings to the rooms. You’ll hear every sniffle, cough, wrinkling of a candy wrapper. The doors slam shut and if you’re a light sleeper or not used to city ambient noise, you’ll struggle 2. You’re gonna have to carry that luggage upstairs so plan accordingly. Travel light! 3. There’s no “lounge”. It’s a brightly lit vending machine room in a basement and a single couch in the lobby. 4. There’s no way to control the temperature. I had heat blasting out of a floor vent and had to cover with luggage and towels just to be able to breathe 5. It’s overpriced for what it is Sounds harsh, but it’s all honest! Has great potential if they lower the price a bit. Claiming to be a hotel when you’re a hostel and then overcharging solo travelers feels icky!
