This was apparently the 1st week this hotel at this location was open. Since I booked on hotels.com, it took the staff a little bit to treat my reservation check-in correctly, but afterwards it was alright. The room was good, but as one of the people booking a room the 1st week, there was no garbage bin or can in the room (odd), I had to call for the TV remote, and the ice machine wasn’t working. Those things should hopefully be fixed by next week, but the King Sized bed was large, the streaming channels worked great & was in HD, and no complaints on the shower/bath room. Unfortunately there’s no breakfast or dining area outside of the room, and you likely would want to bring your own deodorant & bar soap to be on the safe side. I would give this hotel a 4/5 for now, and hopefully it has a least a business center & microwave for it’s guests & doesn’t become a homeless shelter (as unfortunately too many good NYC hotels became).
