Overall this is a really good hotel to stay at and it was priced accordingly. The staff were lovely, kind and courteous and were always smiling. The room was better than a Travelodge and probably on par with a Premier Inn but without the price tag. It was over a hundred quid to stay at a local Premier Inn and this was perfect at £68 for a Friday evening. The bar area was really nice, spacious, comfortable and relaxing, add to that the bar food was equally as nice. It was a great location for my journey and right next to the A34 so only 20mins to my destination the following morning. I would definitely stay there again.

The staff are excellent, so professional but also genuinely welcoming and helpful. Standards in the bathroom still lacking - loose toilet seat, shower gel missing, water pressure low. Clean room, comfortable bed, some nice work in the grounds.

A great stop off if you ever need easy access to the motorway. Room was huge, comfy beds, quiet, excellent room service and super selection at the breakfast buffet. This is our second stay this year. We will no doubt return again. The only down side is that you do have to pay an additional fee for parking.

I liked that the pool and gym was free to use but the staff member at the desk for the facilities was not friendly or helpful at all and needs to work on his customer service. Also the pool area and changing rooms were poorly cleaned hair and dirt everywhere but I understand it was 18:00 so probably fairly used at that point. I was annoyed that I was charged for parking which I’ve never had to do at another hotel. It was a lovely foyer and lounge area really nice and spacious. The room wasn’t in the best condition and there was a few hairs in the bath but everywhere else was clean enough. The guy at the front desk of the hotel was very helpful.

Solo traveler for a single night

Hotel easy to find and very convenient for Newbury Showground. All staff very helpful and friendly. Communal corridors had a slightly musty smell, but the rooms were clean, functional and comfortable. Breakfast was very good with plenty of selection of hot and cold. Plenty of parking on site, but you are charged £8 per day All in all, I would stay again

Amazing trip with my daughter. We celebrated her 6th birthday. The hotel kindly decorated the room which made it so exciting for the birthday girl. The staff had excellent customer service skills. We paid a couple of visits to the pool which was very enjoyable and they provided towels. Take a pound coin for a locker. Plenty to choose from at breakfast and the bar meals were lovely. A lovely, comfortable stay and very relaxing.

Staff were lovely that was the good thing. Room was tired with cracked sink, ripped carpet, sockets not working and broken lamps. Vegan choices were limited and nothing for children.. £16 for breakfast for watermelon & beans on toast I felt was expensive. Our kids just had watermelon and other fruits. The website wasn't up to date, so this hotel doesn't have anything to do with Starbucks. The facilities in the spa were not working and the pool was cooler than we thought it should be.

Despite obviously having a reservation (booked in January) & attempting to check in just after midnight the hotel said there wasn't a reservation. I managed to get a refund through Expedia who were fantastic, but I certainly won't be using this chain of hotels again.
