Amazing location with everything you need within a short walk. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Very quiet especially for the city centre. Would definitely come back here again.

It was historic and told a good story. The decor was fitting for period of time it was built. There is a LOT of maintenance that NEEDS to be done correctly not by the half drunk self proclaimed handy man they must be using. Door dead bolt broken, shower leaks bc door will not shut, stained chair and no internal lock on emergency exit door that leads to somewhere?

Hotel overall is nice. However disappointing that the rooms don’t have a fridge. Also disappointing that there was not a fan in the room or available from reception. Staff are very nice and the bed is comfortable and rooms are nice.

We stayed for two nights in a double room. Positives were that the reception staff were friendly and the check in was easy. Room was comfortable, clean and bathroom spacious. Noise was minimal as we were facing the back of the hotel. Negatives were the double bed was quite small and there was no fridge in the room. Overall a nice and comfortable hotel.

Bathroom was very tired, big dip in the floor. Shower was miniscule. Not king size beds which was also disappointing.

Bit scabby in the room. Very old and tatty bathroom door, furniture, bathroom was a bit dingy. The bed was comfy and pillows were lovely. Just needs re vamping a bit
