So the room Toilet seat wasnt clean The toilet just didnt stop making a filling noise. No electricity to the room at all and for someone who doesnt like the dark isnt good. I didnt stay at the hotel on the night I said to the women on the desk that i will be makin a complaint and she said so. Just shows to me that there dont care and people pay good money for the stay and all we get is a room that isnt even functional.

Great for city centre & arena, but getting dated

I've stayed at this hotel a number of times over the years, it's location is great for city centre or the arena. Entrance and front of house / bar are very welcoming, modern and fresh. The staff were very friendly and pleasant - 1 lady who's name I didn't get went well above and beyond getting me a drink late in the evening. The room we had was needing an update. There were a few suspect stains on the carpet (looked like well trodden in dog mess), the bed was very small, but comfortable enough. The bathroom looked like it was from the 1980's and desperately needed updating. Some of the switches / sockets didn't work within the room. We were staying for only 1 night and it was cheaper for us than paying taxi's home - it was fine and I would stay again, but wouldn't be somewhere to go for a couples long weekend etc.

The breakfast was awesome, and there is a staff member called Susan that is so lovely. She works so hard hard making sure the breakfast buffet was well stocked and made sure all the guests were happy. She's the best.

Ok for the money

Ok for the price, £60, bit no hot water in the morning. Had 50% refunded which was thoughtful . Good location for a short walk into town
