Lovely spacious room, all clean. It was missing a hairdryer as advertised and I had to go down to the bar to ask in my pyjamas with wet hair as no one was answering the phone - not great. Breakfast was nice as always and I ate my evening meal in the bar which was nice but a little bland and expensive. Would still stay again however, it's my go to for my work trips!

Great Hotel, ideally located for Tynemouth Cullercoats and Whitley Bay,walkable easily. Great service and food, fantastic views of the beaches from your room if you chose a sea view. This Hotel is excellent all round.

Meal problem

Had a problem with the evening meal which was quite upsetting for my wife. Meal not as described on the menu. Complained and asked for it to be replaced only the meal never arrived. Disappointing as the hotel is good.

Newly refurbed and a great place to stay.

This was our first stay in Tynemouth. The hotel is a lovely venue and a great place to base yourselves from. Friendly staff and good food add to the stay. Our only criticism would be a lack of A/C in the rooms. Ours was quite warm and the included fan was no use. Apart from that, it was lovely.

Another Comfortable Stay

I always stay here when I'm up this neck of the woods for work - the hotel is very comfortable and the decor is lovely, not to mention the great location. On this stay I was on the other side of the hotel in a lovely big room which had a bit of wear to the walls but was overall well maintained. However I did find a random person's bra on my shelf, presumably from a previous guest! I also dined in the restaurant and found my potato skin starter to be dry and my halloumi katsu curry to be mushy and tasteless which was disappointing for £25. However I would be happy to return given the pleasant surroundings.
