The room was spacious and clean. It was easy to hear people walking upstairs. The TV’s are not smart TV’s.

The staff were very friendly and the hotel is in a safe area that is still close to downtown Newport. The hotel is very dated and really needs an upgrade. There were stains all over the carpet and several damaged spots on the walls. There was a big stain on the ceiling in the bathroom, and the chair in the room looked nasty. The walls were paper thin and I could hear everything going on in the room next to mine, making it hard to sleep. The bathroom was poorly stocked with only one towel and a few wash cloths. I will most likely not be staying at this place again.

We stay here often, but our first floor room was noisier than desired. We could hear the water running above us from toilets and shower, which we don’t hear when on an upper floor. Our toilet seat was broken and it took two requests during our 6-night stay before we got it replaced. Other than that, everything was fine.

Our stay was wonderful. We loved the location, breakfast, and the room. The bed is kind of hard but expected when you stay away from home. Everything was clean. I would suggest that they replace the toilet seat in the room. It is due for a new replacement.

Great family place.

This hotel is consistently above & beyond expectations for it's "star rating" and price point. We intentionally re-target & re-stay here while visiting Cincinnati, The Creation Museum, Newport, The Cincy Zoo, Newport Aquarium, etc. It's conveniently located on the Interstate and also "just far enough" away from the metropolis centers that you're not covered in traffic when you want to go out for dinner. There's a theater and pizza restaurant next door, a few local brewery / restaurants within 5 minutes and the entire area is clean, safe & quiet. Bonus points for how convenient and clean the indoor pool is for our kids. Thanks for keeping up a standard that we look forward to a few times per year.

The toilet seat in our room was loose and when my son sat on it the seat went sideways and broke. I notified the front desk and the staff were courteous and willing to take care of it right away. Great staff!
