Family and pet friendly home sleeping up to 10, located within walking distance of the beach

Talland Croft comfortably accommodates up to 10 in five bedrooms and is the ideal home-away-from-home for large or multiple families, as well as groups of friends. The dog friendly house sits in an excellent location just a short walk from the gorgeous Crantock beach and village centre on the North Cornwall coast.

The detached holiday home is set over two floors and has been tastefully decorated throughout. On the ground floor of the house is a spacious double aspect living room with a comfy lounge featuring large sofas, a TV and a wood-burning stove, and a separate dining area with lovely garden views. There is a well-equipped kitchen/breakfast room, which has a double range cooker and a dishwasher; the microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer are located in the handy separate utility room, where there is also a useful downstairs cloakroom (with wash basin and WC)

The first of the five bedrooms at Talland Croft is on the ground room. This double bedroom has a king-size bed and is positioned to overlook the front garden. The final four bedrooms are all on the first floor of the house. Bedroom 2 is a nice double bedroom overlooking the front garden and benefits from its own en-suite shower room. Next door is a pretty twin with two 3’ single beds and plenty of storage space. Bedroom 4 has some stunning views and features handy zip and link beds that can either be made up as a superking bed or a twin. The final room is the master bedroom, which also has zip and link beds, again which can be made up as a super king sized bed or as two single beds and its own en-suite shower room. There is also a family bathroom, fitted with a bath (with hand-held shower attachment), a wash basin and WC.

To the rear of the property is a lovely fully enclosed garden, which is great for guests with dogs or young children. The garden, which is mainly laid to lawn also has two patios and a summer house.

Talland Croft is a house for all the family, not only is it located just a short walk from the beautiful golden sands of Crantock beach, it is also within easy reach of the village's shops, pubs and restaurants, meaning once you have arrived you may not have to get the car out until your departure day.

Crantock is just five miles from Newquay but the two are linked not just via the roads, you can also take a boat across the town. The village is also on the South West Coast Path so it is a great location for walkers wishing to explore the North Cornwall coastline. Many attractions can be found within easy reach of the cottage, including the Eden Project and Newquay Zoo.

Excellent spot and house

We were 2 x couples and we stayed for a week. Excellent house that had that warm lived-in feeling. Well equipped and even better when we found the cork screw - had to borrow the neighbours wine bottle opener the first night. Very friendly neighbours too! Very pleasant locals and the pub was also very welcoming. I know i have used 'very' too often but heh-ho we had a great time. Mike

Excellent house for a family holiday

Lovely large house and garden with plenty of room for a multigenerational family and 2 dogs. Easy walk to the excellent local pub the Old Albion and well stocked local shop and post office the beautiful sandy beach is not much further and well worth walking to. Had a great stay and will hopefully be back!

Lovely property in convenient location

We love Crantock beach - our favorite place on the North Cornwall coast, this property was perfect location. Well equipped, with lovely welcome pack on arrival. Property was freshly decorated and although some of the furnishings were a little dated, did not detract from the comfort and convenience of the property - more power sockets than you can shake a stick at 😀. Our only very small issue with the cleanliness was the utensil drawer beside the cooker was dirty - otherwise very clean and tidy. All bathrooms were clean and the showers in both ensuites were hot with adequate water pressure. Good nights sleep after the fresh sea air and exercise on the beach in comfy beds with hotel style bedding. What more could you ask for! Lovely stay, thank you.

Dated and needing investment

Large, good location, easy parking, large garden. Needing investment, not very clean, dated, old pots and pans, unusable rusty BBQ, both showers blocked with hair when we arrived, some rooms with only a single old electric socket, bedroom storage dated and dusty inside, mouldy kitchen cupboards which need replacing, dusty and dilapidated summer house half full of junk and only one decent shower between 5 bedrooms. This could be a fabulous house but it isn’t at the moment.

Comfortable, well equipped and perfect for families, dogs and all their needs.

We enjoyed our stay very much, the house was perfect for the family with young children and later on when we were a party of adults. We spent much time in the delightful garden and appreciated the vicinity of the glorious beaches, village, shop and pubs. Altogether a wonderful holiday destination.
