Excellent hotel

Room was good, clean. Was able to park near the room. location was good as participated in the Dartmoor Classic. Did not have the breakfast as I had to leave before breakfast started although the hotel were starting breakfast early for participants which was a kind gesture. Only fault was there were no USB Charging ports in my room.

Reception was quick, efficient and friendly. They immediately found my booking and knew it was pre-paid. The room was clean and comfortable. I didn't use any other facilities but they were explained to me. Would stay again

The room was a good size, the bathroom could do with an update but was clean and usable. TV in the room was rather small. Breakfast was lovely but the conservatory could do with some fans as it was very hot. Great location, nice country walk from hotel. Pool and gym facilities clean and good value at the price we paid for the hotel and I would recommend the hotel.

Jane and I stayed at the beginning of June 25. We had a lovely stay. The staff were as friendly and efficient as ever. This is our second stay of the year. Breakfast was everything you could want. Beds were as comfortable as ever. The hotel was a superb base for visiting all of the surrounding areas and was a lovely place to spend an afternoon relaxing and planning our next adventure. The location overlooking the estuary was really pleasing and quiet beautiful. Good access to other locations is good. My only criticism is that the decor is quite dsted. But this would not stop me staying there again in the future.

Nowadays we all have so many items to "charge up" more sockets by the side of the bed would be helpful, only 2 sockets the other side of the room available easily, Change the colour of the blinds to white, they make the room look dull and dark. Install an EV charging point in your car park.

On arrival I was to be in the annexe on the 3rd floor. The annexe does not have a lift and my suitcase was very heavy.The duty manager kindly moved me into the main building. The room was great with a lovely view of the river. The hotel facilities were clean albeit a little dated. It seemed as though some of the staff were new and still in training as service was a little clunky in the restaurant. But as the manager demonstrated when I checked in, the service ethos is good. I would definitely stay here again.
