Sasson House, Short stroll to Queen Street

Sasson House has been fully renovated and furnished in a boutique style setting. The property is perfectly situated, close to many shops, restaurants, breweries and all the great things that Niagara-on-the-Lake has to offer. The house’s name, Sasson, is a Hebrew name meaning joy or happiness. Prices are subject to change daily.



-3 Bedrooms – 1 King bed, 1 Queen bed and 2 twin beds

-3 Bathrooms – Walk-in shower ensuite, walk-in shower and tub shower combination

-Hosts up to 6 guests (including infants and children)

-Private parking for up to 4 vehicles, contactless check in

-Gas fireplace, central heating, and air conditioning

-High speed WiFi and TV with access to streaming services



The house boasts new hardwood floors, a new fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops:



-Drip-coffee maker and kettle with enough coffee, tea, and sugar to get you started

-Stove, oven, fridge, microwave, toaster, and dishwasher

-Dishes, pots and pans, silverware and glasses (including wine glasses)

-Non-stick spray, paper towels, dish soap, tea towels, dish cloths

-Salt and pepper



Spread the joy with your loved ones by cooking together or lounging in the common area by the fire while watching TV on those rainy days, or quiet evenings. The living space provides plenty of comfortable seating.



The primary bedroom enjoys a King size bed and ensuite. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third bedroom has two twin beds. There is a second full bath on the main floor with a tub/shower.



Downstairs is a recreation room as well as a lower-level bathroom with a shower. The lower-level laundry is supplied with:



-Laundry soap, stain remover and dryer sheets



Bedding, towels, hair dryer, facial and toilet tissue, shampoo, and hand soap are also provided.



Outside, sit on the large back deck while dinner cooks on the gas BBQ/grill or lounge in the sunshine of the back garden.



Sasson House is just steps from the many offerings that Canada's most picturesque town has to offer. Take a short stroll to the many world-class restaurants, Shaw Festival Theatres, and quaint boutiques that line downtown Queen Street. Visit the Niagara wineries, breweries and distilleries scattered throughout the area. Niagara Falls is just a short drive away along the scenic Niagara River Parkway.

The house was very much as described and pictured in the listing. We were three girlfriends staying for the weekend. There was more than enough space and it was especially nice that we could park at the house and walk two short blocks to Queen Street. Check in was super easy. My only disappointment was that the fireplace didn't work.

Unfortunately, there is a strong musty/ mold smell to the entire house. We opened all windows the entire time to try to get rid of smell. In the kitchen, there is not enough glass ware for the amount of people the house can accommodate.Lastly, the kitchen clothes and towels need to be replaced. Otherwise, the house was fine.

We were 2 couples and really loved our stay in this clean, comfortable and well managed home. The best part was leaving the car in the driveway. We walked through the park to Two Sisters winery, to the museum (free admission provided by the host), to the theatre, to the Golf Course patio, to the grocery store, and to numerous shops and other restaurants. The house had everything we needed to enjoy a leisurely breakfast before heading out for the day. Highly recommend!

The house was in a perfect location. It was a short walk into downtown. The only downside I would say is that some of the pots and pans need to be updated- a couple were not usable. The back door had some mutins that were off and they were just laying inside the screen door. Other than that the house was clean and comfortable. I would definitely go back!!!

The house is very nice and was very clean. It was in a good location for walking to the primary sites in NOL. The kitchen was well equipped although the skillets were of poor quality and condition. The beds were comfortable. The front outside lights would not come on and made it difficult to return to the house at night. We emailed about the problem but received no reply.

Short stay but great place

I appreciated the general cleanliness of the house and the comfortable beds and clean linens. Thanks for the laundry detergent and machine.I would recommend several things: clean the outsides of both front and back doors—very grimy and first impressions are important, plus wash the windows. Put white shelf paper in the kitchen cabinets and drawers—putting dishes on the shelf and silver on the drawer wood after a time makes the wood gummy and dirty. Thirdly, repair uneven front walk and steps. I know you’re not “selling” the house, but these three areas encourage the tenants to think that the rest of the house and the living conditions are well maintained.I did not leave early because of any of this—I fell on my morning walk and broke my right wrist and left arm so had to head home.

Perfect Location

Loved this house and location. We would love to stay again. Kitchen & Living area was wonderful for staying in, cooking, and just relaxing. Checking in was very easy and although we only had one vehicle there was plenty of parking. All the rooms were a good size and there was also a finished basement.

Spacious, clean, bright and comfortable. Appliances were very good. Roomy bedrooms. We had two 90 seniors with us and found the home very manageable for them. Bathrooms do not work for walkers.

Sasson is Superb

Spotless comfort, perfect location. Easily walked where we wanted to go, large driveway with free parking for the car which we used for longer outings to adjacent towns. The bedrooms were very comfortable. Living room and dining area pure luxury with fireplace and cozy seating. We would stay again.

Wonderful. Well kept. Perfect for three couples. Back yard is peaceful for morning coffee and evening drinks! Good shower pressure! Washer/dryer came in handy! Kitchen well equipped.
