This home was wonderful. Very comfortable and homey. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook whatever you wanted. I wish our stay could have been longer so we could spend more time sitting on deck and enjoying the views. Will definitely plan on staying again. Check in was so easy.

Love the place and hope to stay again. Short walk down to the lake where it’s easy to swim out to a floating dock. Love the lake. Various beach chairs, as well as kayak, SUP in the basement. Appreciated the mosquito repellent that was provided! Had everything we needed for our short stay.

My family and I stayed here visiting relatives in Jefferson. Absolutely gorgeous location in the woods, and a wonderfully designed home & interior that my mom couldn’t stop commenting on. We would love to come back another time for a longer visit.

Perfect in every way!!

The most beautiful spot! And the house was absolutely adorable it was the perfect fit for us and friends we had over for a cook out. The sunset in the evening was just the perfect end of the day. Thanksgiving amongst the trees

We usually rent right near our relatives closer to Newcastle, but there was a problem with heat in property so we needed a new rental to move into and “Otterly getaway” was willing to rent to us the day before they technically were available which was good for us. The kitchen of the getaway is just perfect for cooking side dishes for our large family Thanksgiving that was just about 20 minutes a way. We slept in the king bed and it was excellent sleeping. The heating system kept us also very cozy. Laundry was very helpful. Looking at other reviews, we tried the water and it is best to buy bottled water. There is not a lot of water pressure for showers. Not necessarily a complaint since we needed down time from our jobs, but the wifi did not work for us. We would definitely stay again in

Otter-ly amazing!

Everything as advertised and up to expectations. Our only gripe is the Internet service was sub-par and cell service was lean. No worries though. All else qas grwat.
