Family Vacation

My husband and I are familiar with the island, but was a first time trip for my parents and adult children and they now know why we keep coming back! House very spacious and pool area stunning with lots of places to relax outdoors. There is a clothesline in back which was an extra bonus.
Lots of pool/beach items, but some pretty worn out. Lots of dishes/glasses, but as far as pots/pans to cook with--we were struggling as choices were minimal and quite worn that we didn't want to cook on. No cookie sheets at all, but LOTS of serving platters and accessories.
The only other downfall was the water pressure was minimal (which is at a lot of places on the island), but the water temp was only luke warm for showers. Not a deal breaker, but just be aware.
Carlitos was very friendly upon check in/out (fortunately didn't need to contact him during our stay). And John/Vilma were wonderful to interact with and quite responsive. Thank you sooo much for sharing your home in paradise with us! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others! Until next time :)

Amazing Snorkeling
Publié le 18 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property was perfect for our vacation. We walked to snorkel and saw tons of sea life including puffer fish, turtles and several different fish. It was beautiful. California lighthouse is very close and several shops and restaurants are just a short drive away. The pool and outside areas were wonderful to just relax and enjoy the warm weather.
The house itself is spacious and has most everything you need.

Best Snorkeling
Publié le 11 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayQuick walk to Tres Trapi and Boca Catalina, we walked with our snorkel gear daily. Very popular snorkeling spot, especially for green turtles. Not close to many shops or restaurants (quiet) so it will be a trek if you want to eat out or shop. Place is older/needs update but was clean, free of sand, and plenty large enough for our party of 5.

We received your review. Unfortunately, we disagree with most of it, starting with "older/needs update" ... This is simply not accurate. Your review is also vague and gives no specific examples that would enable us to address and to update. This is our second home much more so than a rental property as our family comes down 3 to 4 times per year for several weeks at a time. We are constantly updating and improving the grounds as well as the house. Case in point we just completed the redoing of the entire wall mural. The new mural was completed by one of Aruba's most famous artists. We provide our guests with luxury, privacy and a location in one of the most upscale neighborhoods on the island. As is well documented in our reviews. You also state that to go out to eat or shop will be a "trek"... In your first email inquiring about our property location I answered you clearly and honestly that our house is located across from Boca Catalina, Malmok and Tres Trapi Beaches which features probably the best snorkeling on the island. I stated that we were a little over a mile or a 4 minute drive to the high rise hotel area where there are many restaurants and shops. This is also clearly shown on our VRBO site with a map as well as aerial photos of our house.
It seems you would have been better served staying at a hotel where you could walk out your door to a restaurant or for shopping.
This was just not a good fit for either of us.

Dream vacation in Aruba

Close to top notch beaches with snorkeling, swimming and all beach activities
Beautiful mural on the wall behind the amazing pool
Very accommodating to our one year old grandson providing a high chair and pack and play
Would definitely recommend the house
