The house was very comfortable and the layout was great for our two families. We were disappointed that the river was running very high when we were there, but it was beautiful to look at from the deck! We love Arkasa

We had a great stay with family on the Norfork River. The fishing was disappointing because of high water. We were upset that we couldn’t fish behind the house. The house was great though. We were given easy instructions and we didn’t have any reason to call for help. We loved the view from the deck!

Gorgeous river view!

This house is a jewel! Our family spent Spring Break here and it was perfect! Our teenagers loved the fishing. When the river was low in the afternoons they waded out to the “island” in the middle of the river and fished from there. There were plenty of beds for everyone. The bottom floor with the bunk room and TV was a great hangout for the kids. My favorite was waking up to the beautiful view that overlooked the flowing River. Thank you for sharing your home!

Amazing Spot

This house right on the Norfolk catch and release spot it amazing. I got up early and you can watch the sunrise over the river while catching Brown Trout. It’s beautiful. I will definitely be back!

The river is lovely. The recent storm caused some messiness. That was in the process of getting cleaned up. The house is very clean. We enjoyed the fire pit. Joey is a delight. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Thanksgiving on the river!

To say we had a great experience at Old Charlie’s would be a major understatement. Not only did the weather cooperate, but working with Joey before and during our stay was flawless. We caught truth right there on the property and the birding was excellent (25 species spotted!!) We met my parents and made memories we will all cherish. If you’re on the fence on this property, run
 don’t walk. It’s a keeper! Pun intended, catch and release area!

Amazing riverfront cabin

Went here with my wife kids and my brother and his wife and kids. The house has more than enough room for larger groups. The downstairs was great for the kids! We floated from the dam to the cabin multiple times during the weekend and caught a ton of trout. We spent a lot of time in the mornings just sitting on the big porch overlooking the river. We all had a blast and will be coming back to this one!

Beautiful setting!

Everyone really enjoyed the openness of the living space. Decor was nice and the furnishings (beds to seatings) were comfy. We had boys ranging in age from two to thirteen and they loved the outdoors and especially the water. The only concern was about the outside stairs. With arthritic hips, I found the outside stairs challenging. I was glad to find the inside stairs much easier to negotiate. We highly recommend this listing!

This property has gotten better with time. Great beds and lots of them. From a river stand point it’s perfect. Some of the best fishing is right outside the door. The house is private but not too secluded. I’ve stayed at just about every place but this one is my favorite. In an ideal world I wish I could rent just the upstairs for my family.
