The home size and grounds were great, spaceous and secluded, however, not all of the house and grounds were well prepared for guests. The dock at the propety edge to the lake was not fully set up and difficult to access with paddle board and kayak. The house was crawling with a ton of ants on the main floor. There were 2 kayaks in the storage shed - one of which was infested with mice, outdoor lawn chairs stored in the shed were infested with mice also. The house air conditioning was not ready for use and the owner did not offer any remedy to make it operable. The listing says no additional fees but doesnât mention the 150 fee if you don't take all of your garbage with you when you leave. The hours/days of the Waste Transfer station closest to the property are not convenient and other stations are half an hour away. The property is not set up (only one large waste bin) to accommodate for the instructions in sorting different types of waste (paper/cardboard/ cans/bottles/general garbage/ plastics) so that waste will be readily accepted at the transfer station. Have to drive back and forth to waste station in order to return the resident's entrance permit into the waste station. Very inconvenient if you have a packed vehicle and then have to find room for garbage to haul it away or face a huge extra fee. Liked the size of the house and property but, not the unlisted rules and lack of prep.
