We’re already booked for another couple weeks next year. Also, a shout out to Elliott Beach Rentals for their assistance after the Hurricane. Great folks to work with!

We stayed at Covington Cottage in mid-April 2025. You can’t beat the view or the convenience to the ocean! The house is spacious, and the kitchen is fully stocked. Elliot rentals were very attentive about a leak we had in the garage and sent someone out quickly. I decided to just move the car and forgo repairs until our week was over. I would rent here again!

Our stay at Covington cottage was pleasant. The house sits right on the beach. With beautiful views of the ocean. The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of cookware and dishes utensils etc. I don't know why this place don't have more reviews than it does. But halfway through my vacation I knew I was going to be leaving one. Very spacious beach house! We would go back!

Let me start this by saying that 5 stars are like luxury. We have stayed at many houses up and down NMB and this is by far my favorite. However for the price, it was quite expensive, it could have been updated a little more. The TVs are extremely outdated (smart TVs with apps go a long way), and none of the remotes match the corresponding TV,  However, the house was extremely clean the location was perfect. It was quiet and the beach was amazing. But we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I give Elliot itself 5 stars.

Great location!

Pros: We loved our stay at Covington Cottage! The kitchen was very clean and well-stocked with cookware. We LOVED sitting outside on back deck with the lights. Such a great house right on the beach-very cozy and old-school beachy with all the knotty-pine walls. Cons: Downstairs hadn't been cleaned but we think the cleaners just forgot about the downstairs as you have to walk outside to go into the lower level. As soon as we called Elliot, a cleaner came quickly and did a thorough job. The bathtub downstairs didn't drain well and the upstairs was not thoroughly cleaned-maybe hadn't been cleaned thoroughly for a while. Fans were very dusty, glass tables weren't cleaned well, there was a hairball in the upstairs shower, and all the floor surfaces along the edges had a lot of dust bunnies/sand/dirt. The outside surfaces needed attention as well-dirty outdoor table downstairs and upstairs patio needed to be vacuumed/cleaned.

Beach front very outdated accommodations

The house is in a very nice location but is in bad need of updating or replacement. The house was overall dirty inasmuch as the floors had lots of sand and other debris on the floor, cobwebs around ceilings and floors, bed covers with body fluid stains, broken furniture, coffee spilled into silverware drawers, etc, etc, etc. Walls and ceilings are vintage pine paneling. Needs to say, it was not a nice place to stay.
