This is a non smoking oceanfront beach vacation house. Four bedrooms, four baths, and a spacious floor plan delivers an awesome oceanfront view from nearly every angle. Kathy's Cottage in North Myrtle Beach sits high atop stilts like the classic beach homes many remember from childhood. Amenities are satisfying and then some. There are DVD players and flatscreen TVs. There is an oceanfront balcony studded with rocking chairs that sports a fine oceanfront vista.A private boardwalk transports one and all up and over the dunes to the sandy shore. Shoes not required. Kathy’s Cottage is a great place for family vacations. The ocean front location is beautiful and the sounds and ocean view can be enjoyed from the spacious upper deck even on rainy days. We also appreciated the 2nd refrigerator.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kathy’s Cottage. We loved the close access to the beach, the pool, the large deck, a bathroom in every bedroom, the large cooking area, and all the games for the family to play. It was well stocked, and we had everything we needed. We were very touched by Kathy’s story and feel so blessed to have been able to enjoy the beach house she loved so much. We will definitely recommend this place. We were also very pleased with Elliot beach rentals. Their customer service is excellent! I definitely recommend this company.

We stayed at Kathy’s Cottage the week of 8/12-8/19 The house was perfect for the 8 of us. The deck is beautiful. The pool is terrific to refresh yourself after a day at the beach. Our only issue was the back door leading to the deck. It was difficult to open from the inside going outside. I’m sure being on the beach and the elements beats that up. Overall our week was great and the house met all our needs. “Kathy” would be happy about the memories we made.

What a great location with direct access to the beach. We didn’t have to cross any streets, drive and find a place to park or take a shuttle, it was very nice! The house itself was just the right size with a veranda/porch facing the ocean and my wife had her breakfast and coffee there each morning. The added pool was very nice as well as not everyone in our party are beach goers and my grandson spent considerable time in the pool as well as the beach. It was quiet too even though there were houses and condos adjacent. It’s not as large as some beach houses we’ve rented but it was cozy and just right for our family. Bathrooms were small but large enough. Finally the cottage was very neat and clean, we were well pleased. If there was any problem, and this I believe is out of the control of the owner and manager, is the high curbs caused our van to scrape the front bumper whenever we pulled out. It seems that every house or condo along the road had the identical probl

Learning what we love

We loved: the location, beach, restaurants, groceries. We learned to avoid in the future: sharing close space next door with another large group with unruly children, accepting bugs in the house as normal, confirming internet access.
