"Mai Kai" Recently renovated Oceanfront Ground Floor Condo - Kaibo Yacht Club II

“Mai Kai”is a beautiful recently renovated 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom water front condo at Kaibo Yacht Club Phase II, located in the heart of the Cayman Kai community and Rum Point, a world-renowned vacation destination in Grand Cayman.
“Mai Kai” at ground floor level gives you direct easy access to the gorgeous beach through the privately screened outdoor patio seating area. Just steps away is the large pool and hot tub, surrounded with an abundance of lounge chairs and hammocks to laze away the days with the lovely views and incredible sunsets. Choose to Grill al fresco day or night on the private grill right outside your patio door or, for your convenience, visit the neighboring beachfront restaurant, bar and coffee shop which are all fantastic and truly emphasize the relaxed island vibe. Two kayaks are also included for you to explore the beautiful surrounding waters!

Kitchen / Living Area
The well equipped kitchen has granite counter tops and all amenities including fridge freezer, oven, cook top, microwave and dishwasher (fully stocked with all of the essential cookware and utensils) The dining area spills into the living area with a huge comfortable sectional sofa from which to relax, enjoy the beach view or watch the large flat screen HDTV at your leisure. Cable, Wi-Fi internet access and telephone (landline telephone for use by guests to make local calls only) all available.

Master Bedroom
The master bedroom has fantastic views of the beach with easy access through sliding doors to the screened patio outdoor area. The spacious layout features a king size bed, a large walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower.   

Second Bedroom
The second bedroom has 2 twin xl beds (which can be converted to a king size bed upon request) and spacious closet.  

Second Bathroom
There is also a second full bathroom with bath/shower combo.

Laundry area

This was a clean and beautifully renovated condo with direct walk out access to Kaibo beach and the pool. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms were perfect for our needs. The kitchen had everything you needed and very spacious. The outside screen patio was great for sitting and reading out of the sun but still outside. We would definitely return to this specific condo.

This is an immaculate unit right on the beach in Rum Point. The beds are comfortable, the AC is refreshing after a day outside at the pool or beach, and you will have everything you need in the kitchen. This is definitely a 5 star stay.

Perfect location and stay!

This property’s location alone makes it worth every penny. The beach is literally just steps away, and you’re also within a few footsteps of Kaibo restaurant and coffee shop—super convenient for morning lattes or casual meals.The home is stocked with everything you need for a beach day: tons of floaties, kayaks, and snorkel gear. The water is incredibly calm, making it perfect for paddling—kayaking to Starfish Point and spotting starfish along the way was a highlight of our trip.The condo itself is well maintained and outside is beautifully groomed each morning by the property management team. It also came with laundry detergent and all the basic kitchen essentials, which made things easy. Just a heads up: you may want to bring or buy your own toiletries like shampoo, body wash, and lotion, as those weren’t provided. Plenty of towels were stocked, though!Elizabeth was amazing—she responded quickly to any questions, and we had the pleasure of meeting her and her husband. They were an absolute delight!We did walk to Rum Point Club (about a mile away) one day for a change of scenery and a bit more wave action, but we kept coming back to this property. Between the beach, hammocks, peaceful pool, and stunning views, this spot was our favorite by far.I’ll definitely be coming back to this property!

Great Quiet Place

I stayed in this location and at a hotel at Seven Mile Beach. I enjoyed this location so much more because of its serenity and family-friendly environment. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. The pool and beach were well-maintained. The public beach next door was closed, so we may have gotten lucky there were so few people around.

Spring break

Beautiful place to stay! Excellent view of beach/ocean from condo. Great pool/ hot tub/hammocks/lounge chairs/2 kayaks/cooler/snorkel gear..all provided. Able to walk to Starfish point. Nice roads for an easy 5k walk or run. Rum Point minutes away. Upscale Kaibo beach restaurant next door and coffee shop next door. A peaceful place to stay!

Love Mai Kai
 again! :)

This was our second time renting Mai Kai and we loved it again. It’s a great location, close to rum point, but with the quiet we were looking for! Very clean and comfortable beds. Kaibo is a perfect spot to get away from the busy Seven mile but get a wonderful vacation experience. If you’re looking for some place, stay here!

Wonderful condo right on beach. Condo was everything it was advertised. Clean, in excellent condition and literally a few feet to the beach and the pool. Very quiet beach but 2 minute walk to the yacht club door seaside drinks or great meal. Host is wonderful.
