We had an excellent week at Jasmine Cottage over the new year.
We had an excellent week at Jasmine Cottage over the new year. It's a beautiful cottage located in a quiet lane; it's superbly equipped with everything the holiday maker could possibly need. We were staying in Walgrave in order to spend time with family who live locally, so we really appreciated the excellent kitchen and spacious and comfortable dining and sitting rooms. We also appreciated the all the Christmas decorations our hosts had provided. The Christmas tree and lights made the cottage look really warm, welcoming and festive and we much appreciated the work our hosts had put into the decorations. We also appreciated that the hosts were not intrusive but responded very rapidly when the heating and hot water went off on our second morning at the cottage. They came round immediately, and sorted it out very quickly; this was particularly welcome as it was very cold during our stay. It's perhaps worth noting however, that while very characterful, the quirkiness of the cottage has some downsides in terms of many small and unexpected steps and low beams and doorways.
