The livelier seaside resort of Great Yarmouth for fun fairs, aqua park, Sea Life Centre and pier entertainment is only 25 miles away. The local market town of North Walsham is 5 miles for regular market days, and Bacton Woods close by, ideal for cycling, walking and woodland picnics. Bird watching, golf and fishing all available locally. Alternatively spend a day in the fine city of Norwich, with its cathedrals, museums, theatres, shopping and array of cafes and restaurants.
