Neglected property
We checked out Monday morning, 5/19/25. I must say we were thoroughly disappointed with the property. Pulling up and seeing a "For Sale" sign, overgrown landscaping, and abundance of weeds was not impressive, nor was the broken patio furniture and overgrown pond & garden out back. A property for the price we paid, had so much potential, yet looked as if it has been neglected for quite some time. Parts of the house inside were nice, and there was adequate space for our party. However, a broken bed, leaking roof, inefficient dishwasher, etc were not worth the price we paid. There was no welcome basket with basic amenities, as is common in previous --------’s and Vrbo’s we’ve rented. I'm pretty sure the electrical wiring is not up to code. There was lack of AC /fans in the bedrooms. We found some units in closets, but the house was not prepared for tenants. Overall, this was not a positive experience for my party. I was embarrassed, and feel we are due at least a partial refund.
