Fantastic apartment

We (a family of 4) stayed in this apartment for 5 days in August 24. The apartment was one of the best holiday rentals we have ever had, and was a real home from home with plenty of space and everything we could have needed was provided. Sabine was an excellent host - she gave us lots of helpful information about the local area, places to eat and things to do. We used some of her recommendations during our stay and they were all excellent suggestions. We loved Nuremberg and really enjoyed the city.

Beautiful space within the city walls

The space was as nice as pictured. Easy walk to all of Nuremberg's attraction within the city wall. Sabine was super friendly and helpful. A wonderful lady. There is some stair climbing involved. If you have physical limitations this may not be the best fit. Overall A+

Wonderful apartment in the old city in a great location

Sabine was a wonderful host! We reached out to see if we could check in early and Sabine was very accommodating. She sat with us for 30 minutes to review the apartment and things to do given our tight agenda. The apartment itself was HUGE and very modern. Very comfortable! The bathroom especially was very cool. Wonderful tub, huge shower, etc. Windows everywhere throughout the apartment so lots of light. The bedrooms had comfortable beds. The kitchen was great with a great Nespresso machine - we love espresso! We liked the large balcony with a table that we used for morning coffees! The location of the apartment in the Altstadt was great! Busy doner kebab restaurant downstairs and several other Turkish restaurants nearby, even a shisha/hookah cafe! The 1km walk to the Hauptmarkt takes you along a fantastic fussgangerzone with lots of shops and cafes. And old town Nurnberg is a fantastic town - we were so impressed with all the sightseeing! The only things to make note of is that the apartment is in a busy location, and the cafe downstairs can be quite loud. However, the high 3rd floor location and great windows and shade block out all the noise and light. And also, that 3rd floor location can be tough at the end of the day given there is no elevator, but that is part of the charm. That said, these were not really problems for us (couple ~50 yo, mother ~75 yo, daughter 9 yo). Overall we had a wonderful time and our only complaint is we only had 2 nights here.

Fantastic Apartment in the Old Town

Sabine is a fantastic host. Communication was great from the time I made the booking for my family and right through our stay. She met us on arrival, showed us through the apartment and suggested some things to add to our plan for our time in Nuremberg. The apartment is spacious, clean and very comfortable. Thank you Sabine, we will definitely stay again.

A Gem near Old Town

We spent two nights in Sabine's lovely apartment. She welcomed us with a refrigerator full of cold beers, coffee and tea for the morning, and a bowl of sweets. The kitchen is very well appointed -- it holds almost anything you might need for cooking. In addition, the entire apartment is extraordinarily clean and beautifully decorated. The air circulation and light from the many windows made our stay incredibly comfortable. Best of all, the location is perfect -- we could easily walk to Old Town Nuremberg, shopping, and restaurants. We highly recommend this wonderful property, and would definitely stay again if we return to Nuremberg!

Nuremberg @ Christmas

Apartment was lovely! Very spacious and better than pictured. We enjoyed the oversized bathroom (with heated tiles), soaking tub and large rooms. The kitchen was well stocked for dining and cooking. Sabine provided a wonderful introductory overview and we were able to do many of the suggestions during our stay. Location was perfect for walking to Christmas markets, shopping, and very convenient to other transportation options. If we get back to Nuremburg, we will opt to stay here again! (Thanks for the local beer & treats from the markets upon arrival.)

Wonderful place in Nuremberg!

The apartment was the perfect size for six adults. We had plenty of room in which to relax, have some privacy, and spend time with each other. It was very clean and very comfortable! It is in a great location to explore the old City - especially the Christmas market! Everything was very walkable. Every place Sabine recommended was great. We never had a bad meal in Nuremberg. We all highly recommend the Turkish restaurant downstairs when in need of a quick meal - it is delicious! We will recommend this apartment to friends/family and would definitely stay here again.

Large Beautiful Apartment in the Old Town

This is a large beautiful apartment in old town. The shower is large. It’s across the street from the Ubahn. Yes you have to carry your luggage up 3 european flights-6 American. But the flights are short so it’s not too bad. The apartment is very well equipped. Sabine greeted us and was very helpful.

This apartment is very well furnished with top of the line furnishings. The photos do not do it justice. It is located inside the city walls and made walking exploring around and exploring the old town very easy. A U-Bahn stop is 100 feet from the door. I would recommend this apartment and would stay here again.

Fantastic apartment in a really good location

The apartment is (I would say) even better than it looks in the description - as well as being very spacious it is really well equipped, and finished to a high standard; we were provided with two (really nice) towels each, and the cold beer in the fridge was most appreciated after a long journey :) We came by car and parked at the Jakobsmarkt Parkhaus - on a Saturday there is an attendant there who can sell you a weeks ticket for significantly less than the normal daily rate, it also allows you to go in/out as many times as you want in the week. The location means you can easily walk to castle, museums, and the main shopping area without the need for buses, trams or U-bahn. Ok so its on the 3rd floor with no lift - but at least it burns off some of the calories from the excellent local beer... The only 'downside' is that there is some noise from the bars and cafes in the street below which goes on late into the evening - I did not think it was any more noise than I would have expected for the location. My tip - if you leave the shutters, windows, and doors on the two bedrooms facing the wall closed all day the rooms stay really nice a cool - then you don't need the windows open at night.

Happy holiday in Nuremberg

We've just returned from a perfect week in Nuremberg at this property. The large living/dining room was perfect for our trip with 2 toddlers, parents and 3 grandparents meaning that we could spend chill out time together. The location of the property made it easy to reach from the airport and easy to walk to any museum or the centre of the old town. We would recommend Aldi/Rewe for an initial shop on arrival, it's about 10min walk from the apartment. We would also recommend the Turkish take away below the flat for an easy dinner. The apartment was clean and very spacious, particularly the bathroom and we really can't overstate what a lovely time we had at the apartment and in Nuremberg.

Superb appartment and landlord

We were a family of 5 and there was plenty of room in this light and spacious apartment. The owner was very helpful and the apartment was well equipped and furnished with an appreciated complimentary drink provided. It is very well located for Nuremberg, close to an underground on a direct line to the airport and all the historic sites are in walking distance including plenty of shops/cafe's. It is in a busy part of town so expect some noise and it is also worth noting that it is up 6 flights of stairs. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Fantastic rental!

Perfect rental. The apartment was newly remodeled, with great beds and a very nice, quiet, balcony to eat and drink on in the morning and evenings. The host was fantastic - and set us up with Nespresso, beer, and Apfelschorle for the kids. Neighborhood borders on interesting, and was a perfect location for our two families’ explorations of Nuremberg and the area.

Beautifully maintained apartment

I rented this apartment for three nights with my family in July. We were so pleased by the size and cleanliness. There was plenty of room for three teenage boys and 4 adults. This property is located above a busy restaurant and spirited street but the noise was not that bothersome for us. I would highly recommend this apartment and would definitely rent this again if I find myself back in beautiful Nürnberg!
