Tucked into a quiet residential neighborhood just 3 blocks off Middleton Ave between the Intracoastal Waterway and the sound, Seersucker Cottage sits on an oversized lot with beautiful live oaks and a private backyard. With two bedrooms and one bathroom, the cottage sleeps 6. Extra space on the sun porch allows guests to spread out and enjoy quiet time alone or game time together.

Most neighbors are year-round residents. Great for walking and biking! Less than a mile to beach access. Short drive to Southport for shopping, historic sights, waterfront restaurants & Fort Fisher and Bald Head Island ferries.

Mattresses, furniture, washer and dryer new in 2023, iced or hot Keurig, toaster, blender, cookware and dining service for 6. Wifi & Fire stick. 1 king bed, 2 twin beds & a queen sleeper sofa. Enjoy cooler days with a book or family game on the sun porch. Beach access just under a mile away! Cleaning fee includes linens, and beds will be made for your arrival.

Charging ports built into the lamp bases in the master for easy access, Bluetooth speaker in the living room, games & books for children and adults.

Dish soap, sponge, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, laundry detergent and coffee pods are provided for short-term stays. Please note there is not a dishwasher.

Linens are provided for your convenience, including sheets, bath towels, washcloths, hand towels, bath mat and kitchen towels. Ice cream maker, hammock, two backpack beach chairs & beach umbrella for guest use. No smoking/vaping or pets anywhere on the property ($500 violation), applies to daily visitors as well. The mini split unit in the living room efficiently heats and cools the cottage as long as bedroom doors are left open. Ceiling fans are in each bedroom as well. Please note that the person making the reservation must be a guest of the property for the length of the stay.

Quiet and cozy

this is such a cute home that is accurately described. The home is quiet and my husband and I enjoyed our stay. The beds are very comfortable which is hard to find at a rental. We would 100% stay here again in the future.

Lovely winter beach getaway

Hazlette was a wonderful host, going above and beyond to make our anniversary trip spectacular! I even left something and she worked diligently to get it back to me. The cabin was as pictured. The bed was excellent and was the reason we booked - it’s challenging to find a king size bed in rental properties. Check in/out was simple, and we really enjoyed exploring Oak Island during our stay. Would really recommend this cute spot!

The property was just as pictured in the listing. Its a small cottage, with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom but it was perfect for our family of 5. We brought a pack n play for our toddler and it fit great in the room with 2 twin beds. Our only issue was that in the heat of July, we were very hot in the bedrooms the first night. When I reached out to the owner asking if she had a box fan we could use, she promptly had 2 delivered to the house! We were planning on getting one at Walmart, but were grateful that she offered to take care of it. The fans were a game changer. We slept so well the rest of the week and stayed nice and cool in the house!Owner was very responsive and took care of any issues that arose during our stay. We really enjoyed our week at this cottage getaway and would definitely recommend it to any small family looking for a sweet time on Oak Island!
