Just returned from a week at Eden Cove #8 and can't wait to sleep in my comfortable bed - the beds are horrible in this rental! Lots of stairs to deal with since the elevators are broken or inoperable (we were given two different stories). I just don't understand why the owner would buy and rent out such a beautiful property but yet skip on things like chairs for the porch? We had to lug up our sandy beach chairs every day if we wanted to sit on the porch. Lastly, the master bedroom shower is FULL of mold! I contacted the rental agency to confirm this would not be the case as I read it in a review. We were promised it was taken care of.
Beautiful property but just not comfortable at all.
Rented the unit for Thanksgiving. Was told all the problems had been fixed and the unit was completely furnished. I am recovering from heart surgery and the elevator is what sold me on the unit. The elevator did not work and the place was dirty. The living room was painfully short on seating. I had to go buy wine glasses for 8 since there was only three mismatched glasses. No toilet paper; the towel rack was falling off the wall. One of the showers leaked so badly that water literally ran out the door onto the hardwood floors. Door falling off kitchen cabinet. Knives had dried food on them. No window treatment in master bedroom and had to put a blanket up to keep the morning sun out. All floors were dirty and I am not sure it had been cleaned after the last renter. For such a large investment someone is doing a poor job of management and maintenance. Finally the people at the rental office are nonresponsive to emails and on the phone they make you feel they are doing you a favor to answer questions.

VERY DISAPPOINTING
POORLY EQUIPPED KITCHENS. SWIMMING POOLS UNAVAILABLE. ELEVATORS IN ALL UNITS DIDN'T WORK. Sparse furnishings in living room for it to be for 10 people. No porch furniture to sit on. We had a couple of people in our group that had some disabilities. The main reason we rented this unit was for the pool and the elevator. consequently it caused painful problems. We were never told about the elevator or given to opportunity to change our unit to a more suitable one. These people lied and are greedy. We had to go get our linens at 10:30 at night and the people in the unit next to us went and bought their linens. Bad experience.
