Walk to Beach - 3 Bed/2 Bath Beach Bungalow

Less than a mile walk until your feet are in the sand! Relax after a day at the beach in this spacious and open home just minutes from the beach. After walking or biking back from the beach, relax in one of 2 living rooms - the second living space features a gas log fireplace with cute built-in window seating, another dining table, two futons for extra guests sleeping over, or simply for an awesome game and playroom. Or gather around the kitchen - between the dining table and island bar, you can comfortably seat 10-12 people.

The large master suite is a place for rest and replenishment - enjoy the walk-in tile shower! The second and third bedrooms are fabulous too and share the other beautiful bathroom in the home.

Outdoor living continues into the fenced-in backyard with a huge ground level deck perfect for relaxing in the hammock listening to waves crash, entertaining, sunbathing, or just letting the kids run around.

We are pet friendly and allow up to 2 pets of any size. Dogs must be crated when left alone and are not allowed on the furniture. A large crate is provided in the master bedroom.

Located on SE 29th St, the house is 2 blocks to the scenic walkway that leads to the beach or kayak launch. It's recently renovated, incredibly spacious, tons of outdoor living space, fully furnished, linens and towels provided, fenced in back yard, screened in front porch, lots of parking, plus no climbing tons of stairs!

The location was great. Super close to anything you might need or want. Felt very safe in the neighborhood. Also, the beds were very comfy & the extra living room was nice for an additional large, open space. We absolutely loved being able to spend so much time with the dogs in the back yard!

We had a wonderful and relaxing time here. The house was clean, spacious, and accommodating (especially for our party of 10) and it's in such a peaceful neighborhood. We especially loved sitting on the back patio, drinking our morning coffee and watching all different kinds of birds in the trees. The host is awesome! She was very helpful with our questions and responded quickly when we reached out. We appreciated the labels over the cabinet doors in the kitchen and that is was well stocked! The neighbors and the local people were very nice as well. The walk to the beach was easy and picturesque. If our travel plan brings us back to Oak Island, we will definitely stay here again!

Megan, FYI some of the pillows in smaller bedrooms had musty smell as did the comforter/bedspread. Having lived in Atlanta we are familiar with humidity issues but thought we should let you know.

This house was a great set up for our family! We had young adults to grandparents from out of state and were able to stay under one roof! The owners were fantastic and answered any questions we had. Definitely recommend!

This was our second summer staying here, and we are hoping next year will make 3 in a row. The house was clean, well stocked and just as described. Perfect family vacation home!

We’ve been spending time on OKI for 8 years now, and this was the best home we’ve rented. It’s so much bigger than you realize. It was clean and fully stocked. The owners were amazing with communication and providing recommendations of things to do. We loved it so much we booked it again!

Family Spring Break Trip

My family and I could not have asked for a better house to stay in during our visit to Oak Island. The location was ideal as we were a short walk to the beach and the street was quiet and peaceful for relaxing evenings. The host was very helpful and available for all of our questions. My family all agrees that this is a house we would like to stay in again in the future!

Family vacation with our pets

Protest was perfect size and location to the beach. Having a fence back yard was perfect with our two dogs. My only issue was the back yard area was a little unkept and would have been nicer if leaves and limbs had been raked. Having beach chair available for use for very helpful and appreciated.
