Check-in was easy, and the kitchen was nicely equipped with all the necessary amenities. However, I did have to unload the dishwasher from the previous occupants before I could find the coffee cups.
Unfortunately, there were several issues that impacted our stay. The shower curtain had visible mold on it, which seems like a relatively inexpensive and easy issue to address. The dressers were also dusty and gave the impression that the property had not been thoroughly cleaned before our arrival.
The screen door did not close properly, which made it difficult to leave the door open for fresh air. The house also had a noticeable musty odor mixed with the smell of old cigarette smoke.
The stairs were particularly concerning and felt unsafe to navigate. In addition, the lighting throughout the house was extremely dim, making some areas difficult to see clearly.
Overall, while check-in was easy and the kitchen was well equipped, the cleanliness, maintenance, odor, lighting, and safety concerns significantly affected our experience. Unfortunately, based on our stay, I would not recommend this property.
