The apartment is located inside a private property wich offers dditional privacy and comfort during your visit, it also includes a parking lot for your car. This apartment has a small terrace outside, it's perfect to enjoy the weather while having a drink or surfing on the internet. It is located within a walking distance to the historic center and mayor attractions in the city, hte neighborhood is safe, there is a University next to the house so there is always transit of people in the area.

I stayed here for two months in late 2025 and loved it. The apartment is spacious, clean, and well-lit. I loved the terrace, the view, and eating breakfast outside in shorts and barefoot in December! With fresh red berries! Although the apartment is on Crespo-- probably the noisiest street in Oaxaca-- it is set back from the street in a secure compound, and the noise is minimal. It's also close to the stairway up to the Guelaguetza auditorium, which is great exercise if you want it. I've been to Oaxaca several times in the past few years and this is my favorite place to stay so far.

My Oaxaca stay

Great private apartment with kitchen set up pretty good, up high on a hill near the Guelaguetza. Olga was very receptive to all my questions and requests. The apartment is on a busy street but set back far from the street so not super noisy, really close to the Pascuas market, and the patio area is gated so my dog could be off leash (altho if you are traveling with a dog be warned that there are lots of celebrations in Oaxaca and thus lots of firecrackers so mine got scared). Two things to be aware of are that there is no AC or cross breeze since its up against the hillside and only has windows on one side so it was really really hot inside, (hotter than outside) and hard to cool down in the eves even with the fans. Also it is up the hill from the centro, and with quite a few steps up some stairways from the driveway to the apartment, so be prepared for that. Otherwise a great location & felt really safe.

Great location and.very comfortable

We enjoyed our stay and found the apartment comfortable and very clean. We did not cook much as there was little counter space, however everything else was great. We felt very secure and Olga was always very responsive. We would recommend this apartment hands down for anyone staying in Oaxaca.

We were a 10 minute walk from majority of things we wanted to do! Loved how close we were to the city and the views at night were absolutely gorgeous

The property and location are great for people with pets. What is not great, however, is the lack of air conditioning in this penthouse level, at the base of the hills, apartment unit. My dog got sick multiple times battling heat stroke and so did I. Do not stay here until they install an appropriate climate control system in that property. Humans cannot and should not feel their organs warming in their bodies. In any season, Oaxaca city properties need air conditioners for them to be an ethical place for a person to reside and rest.
