Not good

I absolutely had to stay at Hotel Oaxaca Inn Reforma because of its proximity to the Hospital San Lucas where my son was. The hotel staff was fine, kind of invisible but OK. The lobby is also fine. I was in a two bed room, the beds were hard as rocks, so uncomfortable (I tried both). The maid service was good, my room was cleaned every day. The bathroom is cramped and shabby, the water from the water fro the shower goes all over the bathroom floor and you have to be a contortionist to use the toilet, it is tucked into a space behind the door. The lights are killer harsh. The room has only one overhead light which HURTS. The carpet in the bedroom has some creepy stains on it. The rate was about $100/night so it felt like I was paying to be tortured. If you value your comfort, stay there only if necessary.

We got tricked

The hotel resold our room and said that Hotels.com cancel my reservation. Horrible experience. I will never use your website for anything.

STOP! READ! STOP! READ!

HORRIBLE! We had to leave our 7 day stay after 4 nights. Noisy rooms from poorly insulated large window adjacent to open corridors. Elevator broken; we had to carry luggages on our own to the 4th floor (no bell service). No hot water first 2 days; no cold water last 2 days. Toilets did not flush during that time either. Room phone line down so if you wanted to talk to desk, we would walk down from 4th floor. Frail carpets through on stairs and rooms. Poorly lit hallways with construction materials as trip hazards. We respectfully let the staff know numerous times. They would tell us things would be fixed tomorrow. Four tomorrows later, we decided to check out and find another hotel to finish our BEAUTIFUL Oaxaca vacation. And BEAUTIFUL it was!
