Maximum 3 pets/ dogs allowed. The farm with this flat is located near Auw near Prüm and it is only a few minutes to the German-Belgian border. Beautiful hiking and riding trails into the depths of the nearby Schneifel forest are within walking distance. From here you can reach the Schneifel mountain range at 697.3 metres at the highest point of the Schnee-Eifel, the "Black Man", via very scenic forest paths.

A variety of animals live on the farm. In addition to a petting zoo with sheep, goats and alpacas, there are also horses and geese. The horses can be groomed and groomed by older children.

Our new programme includes pony and donkey rides for children and horse riding for adults.
We also offer a picnic with donkeys and alpacas.

The holiday flat is a ground floor flat with a separate entrance and approx. 80m² of living space. The flat can accommodate four adults and two children. It is divided into a large and well-equipped living/dining kitchen with a dining table, a living room with a wood-burning stove and a large sofa bed. The bathroom is fully equipped with a shower and a large window. The spacious bedroom has a large double bed and two bunk beds. The large sofa bed in the living room offers additional sleeping space for 2 people.

You are welcome to bring your dog with you.
You also have the option of spending your holiday with your own horse. Accommodation and feed are provided. The Schnee-Eifel, around the Herzfenner-Hof, is characterised by countless forest paths. You are not bound to fixed bridleways and can therefore enjoy a probably unprecedented freedom with your horse. The firm, sandy surface of the forest/field paths is especially made for horses' hooves. In winter there is a high probability of snow. The well-known winter area "Schwarzer Mann" can be reached on foot from our farm. There are trails for cross-country skiing and a downhill run with a ski lift

There are numerous leisure activities for children and adults on the farm. There is a playground with swings and a trampoline. We have recently added a barrel sauna for our guests. We have a large fleet of vehicles for small children to ride in the enclosed courtyard.

Unzutreffende Beschreibung

Leider entsprachen die Fotos und auch die Beschreibung keineswegs der angetroffenen Unterkunft. Laut Text und Fotos geht die Wohnung über 2 Etagen, hat 2 Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett und ein Etagenbett. Tatsächlich gibt es nur ein Schlafzimmer, in dem sich ein Doppelbett und ein Etagenbett befinden. Im Wohnraum ist eine Couch, die zum Schlafen nicht sehr bequem ist und durch die Lage zwischen Schlafzimmer und Toilette auch nicht wirklich als Schlafgelegenheit geeignet ist. Die zweite Etage wurde zu einer weiteren Ferienwohnung umgestaltet, im Wochnzimmer kann man jeden Schritt von oben hören, auch deswegen keine angenehme Schlafmöglichkeit. Die Schlafsituation ist einzig durch das kleine Symbol mit Doppelbett und Etagenbett in der Anzeige zu erkennen, dies ist absolut nicht ausreichend! Ansonsten waren Vermieter und Hausverwalter sehr freundlich, der Kamin sehr gemütlich und auch die Fasssauna hat uns gefallen! Aufgrund der Schlafsituation sind wir einen Tag eher abgereist. Während der Nacht oder am frühen Morgen war dann auch noch die Heizung ausgefallen und niemand da, der uns helfen konnte - draußen war es unter Null Grad - was uns den Entschluss zur vorzeitigen Abreise erleichterte.
