Bright top-floor apartment (1 bedroom) with stunning views of meadows and forests, located in the beautiful Ore Mountains at the foot of Fichtelberg in Oberwiesenthal.
Welcome to Germany’s highest town, right at the base of the 1,215 m Fichtelberg. In winter, Oberwiesenthal is a paradise for skiers, cross-country skiers, and snowboarders. During the rest of the year, hikers, mountain bikers, monster scooter riders, nature lovers, and anyone seeking relaxation will find plenty to enjoy.
The house is just a 5-minute drive from the town center, lifts, and ski slopes. Hiking trails into the Fichtelberg and Keilberg areas, extending into the Czech Republic, start right at the house. When snow conditions are good, you can access the groomed cross-country trail near the property. The whole family can enjoy the sledding slope just 50 m away, where snowcats pull sleds up the hill.
The 54 m² apartment is on the 3rd floor (attic). It is bright and welcoming, with 1 bedroom featuring 4 beds (including 1 fold-down wall bed), a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with dining area, and a bathroom with shower.
Drinks are available in the house. On Saturdays, a bread roll delivery service is available on request. Dog owners: please note your dog must climb stairs—first a stone staircase, then an open wooden staircase with treads. Arrival from 3 p.m. or by arrangement.
Two sleds are available to borrow.
