Architect designed, spiral staircase leads to spacious loft bedroom with queen bed, sitting area, and library; windows overlook horses, meadows, trees. Ground floor has glass walls on three sides with full-length drapes for complete privacy. open concept living/dining room with compact kitchenette is perfect for relaxing and meals. High speed internet, TV. Poolside patio includes BBQ grill, glass table and chairs. Kidney shaped pool surrounded with palms is fenced and pet friendly. Cute getaway for 55 and over

Reality check! All comments before us were 4 and 5 stars but it’s not
it’s a 3 stars. Maybe once upon a time in the west it was a 5 stars but ain’t anymore but still have potential to be a 5 stars. This cottage is located in the rich countryside of Ocala so if you’re looking for an experience on a real ranch, this isn’t the place. Max one of the owners on site is friendly, they have two friendly dogs also . We did appreciate our stay but
gotta admit that it was a little bit boring after 4 days. This place is more suited for people over 55 years old 
here’s a lot of pros and cons which will backup our evaluation. Don’t get me wrong , it’s a nice place but overrated in our opinion which we are in titled to. PROS; Great view Washer and dryer inside the cottage Peaceful and quiet place if you forget the peacock screaming all night Nice cottage The pool
.but You can watch and touch the horses and a few other animals Great weather Patio doors all around so great view even when inside CONS; Parking is about 150 feet from the cottage which isn’t a problem in itself but the path to get there had DOG POO in our way everyday of our stay
 Curtains and Coussins on the sofa had stains on it Blue patio chairs outside all showed signed of moisture Pool was cold and showed traces of stain all around the pool It’s an area with many ranch but you CAN’T ride horses anywhere!!?? Have 14 examples showing a lack of maintenance but no more room to write

Check in was easy. Max met us and showed us where everything was at. Max and Anne even met us at departure to wish us safe travels. I’ve stayed at many places and this place offers the most amount of amenities, from cleaning supplies to coffee to odd and end things like sunburn care. Plenty of towels and extra bedding. It is located on the back side of their home, but my privacy was maintained. The landscape around the pool and home offer plenty of privacy. Replies to my messages were quick. They’ve even got two super sweet dogs and the peacocks were a plus. Super sweet people. 10/10 recommend.

Hiddle Gem

Somethings out of a story book. Roosters, horses, Birds, private pool and more. We loved the little quiet oasis away from the city. The owner Max was very kind and let us feed the horses and gave us a few local recommendations. We loved their pups captain and Lady too.

Horse lovers place

This property was exactly as it was listed. The pool was awesome and the sounds of the animals on the property were fun to listen to the rooster, the peacocks and of course the snorting of the horses. The hosts Max and Ann were awesome and super nice people totally enjoyed our stay if we visit Ocala again we will surely stay here again.

Peaceful Paradise

This is our second stay and each time has been amazing. Surrounded by beautiful pastures and friendly horses, grilling in the evenings and mimosas by the pool in the morning, we had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Can’t wait to come back.

A peaceful retreat

My friend and I stayed for a week - exactly what we needed. The evening sunset capped off a day poolside. Ann and Max are great hosts. I highly recommend a stay here for rest, relaxation, and peace. I will definitely stay again.

I just love the atmosphere. Every where you looked it was trees, horses, and farmland. It felt like I was taken away to another time...beautiful. Ann and Max were great too and always quick to assist with any needs. Highly recommend.

Quiet, Clean, Friendly

It was a nice, quiet stay (I've never heard any sirens, so what a relief). The owners were very friendly and welcoming. There are plenty of safe roads to walk by: horse farms/ranches for a nice long walk. Neighbors are also very friendly. The pool is private, and the temperature is tolerable in March and likely perfect in April. It's about 40 minutes from Catus Joe's horse riding and worth the trip.... Hiking trails are nearby at the State parks.... as well as canoeing and kayaking. I'm coming back!!!

Nice relaxing Stay in Ocala

The property is a pool-side home with just room for two people. The bedroom was upstairs via a spiral staircase and downstairs was a bathroom and a large living area including kitchen space. All walls were door walls so great views on all sides (and curtains for privacy). Was dog friendly and our dog enjoyed herself ;) Property manager was very helpful (e.g. offered us an additional heater when weather became unusually cold for the area). They were very nice people and respected our privacy.

Cute cottage with a pool

I wish I had been able to use the pool but it was just a little too chilly in December. The cottage is oozing with personality. Lots of color and light. Great spot off the back for my pup. Great communication when unneeded anything. We had a wonderful stay.

Silver Springs

We wanted to check out Silver Springs and that’s what led us to this cute place. It’s Guest house with a pool behind the main house, but it’s a very quiet and beautiful neighborhood. House is well kept and has everything you need for a nice weekend. We enjoyed walking our dogs around and Silver Springs definitely lived up to the hype.
