The Windjammer Condominiums located ocean front on 46th street offer that wonderful retro Ocean City feel providing the perfect setting for a memorable visit to Ocean City, Maryland. This 3rd floor walk up two bedroom, one bath unit can sleep six with bed sizes including a king in the 1st bedroom, a twin and a double in bedroom two, and a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. A one-of-a-kind family vacation destination, each unit is individually owned and decorated offering the guest a unique feel and comfortable stay with direct beach access and ocean views. Enjoy the exclusive private sand patio for grilling, picnics and play, free WiFi, flat screen TVs. Our condos are stocked and ready for you with towels, linens, cookware and utensils. Don't pass up on the chance to stay at your home away from home at the beach! An on-site laundry room is available for guests at no additional cost from 9am to 5pm. Property rents any 3 nights in season and any 2 nights off season.
Non-Smoking/Non-Vaping NO pets, please. Property owner does not permit group rentals to guests under the age of 25.

Not what we expected

While we love the location, this condo left a lot to be desired. The entrance/sliding doors were very old and hard to lock/unlock. The condo smelled like an antique store and was in dire need of a dehumidifier.

Close to Beaches Far from Quality

Check-in and check-out was super easy. We stayed on the third floor of the walk up property. It was a struggle bringing all the bags up the stairs. The screen door is extremely old, tethered, and needs to be replaced. AC and fans worked well throughout the unit. The unit came supplied with various amenities, but lacked an ironing board. The bathroom is super small and the shower is dark. King bed was hard and my husband’s back now hurts from it. The ice tray is old and disgusting. The property is right on the beach. Parking is extremely tight. The sand beach at the property is convenient and my son enjoyed it. It also came with beach toys that he played with and was able to take them to the beach. This property is a solid 2.5-3 stars max.

Overall a great stay

Absolutely no real complaints. I read some reviews about unit 303 that said it was old, smelly etc. This was not our experience at all. Decent appliances, could have used a bit more silverware and the unit does need painting but we do understand its a rental so maintenanxe can be overwhelming. Very spacious and bathroom and floors appear recently updated. One compleaint i did have is the lack of beach equipent for a rental that holds 6 people thete were only 2 chairs with attached umbrellas. I think 4 chairs and 1 large umbrella would be more reasonable. But again overall our stay was plesant and would stay here again.

We love the condo. We have stayed twice in the same one and loved it. We love the open concept and the sand that the kids can play in. There was only two bad things. Who ever cleans the condo doesn’t clean under bed well. We found a pair of pants and we had no hot water twice at night and had to wait till 9am to get it fixed. Besides that our stay was wonderful.

Great Location!

This condo was in a great spot! The kids enjoyed playing in the sand with the sand toys that were provided. We were located within a block from great restaurants (we ate at Belly Busters several times) and mini golf. I drive an SUV and parked along the side of the building next to the street and it was perfect. We would definitely stay here again!

No senior is going to get us down.

Unknowingly, we went during high school senior week. We were surrounded by teenagers on both sides of our condo. We thought this would of put a damper on our vacation but the condo was well insulated and we didn't hear any noise from the other rooms. The condo itself was terrific; it was clean, it had all of the items you need to cook, and the beach was in your backyard. Perfect for small children. The courtyard was amazing, it had sand toys grills, picnic tables, and plenty of chairs. Last; the staff was amazing, anytime we needed something they were there to help.

Great location!

We enjoyed our stay here! It is a great location on the beach and not too far from the boardwalk. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Everything was clean and as described in the listing.

Right on the beach

Great location right on the beach. Exactly as pictured and comfortably fit my group of 5. We weren’t given any toiletries though (only 2 rolls of toilet paper, no garbage bags or shampoo etc.) so make sure to bring your own. Overall great stay and would definitely stay here again.

Nice place; very clean; good view; great service from housemaid to check in agent, very friendly and extremely helpful!! Two negatives: very tight parking (small lot) tough not to door bump parked car next to you. Small carpet in unit was clean on surface but had an odor.

Cons The interior was exactly as pictured. However there was a STRONG DAMP MOLDY SMELL that persisted throughout the entire stay. First we thought it was because the condo was locked up for a while so we opened the windows and sprayed air freshener but the smell did not go away. The building is dated!!! No elevator Pros Short walk to the beach. Short drive to attractions and broadwalk.

The proximity to the beach of this property is GREAT! The beach was literally in our backyard!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the windjammer! We loved being so close to the beach and our favorite bars and restaurants. We stayed 2 nights. There is a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed. We were six people and we all slept comfortably. I would say my only qualm was the musty smell throughout the apartment. There is a carpet in the living room that seemed to smell perhaps from past visitors stepping on it after being in the ocean. The humidity and ocean air all around perhaps contributes to it, but despite our efforts to spray febreze odor neutralizer, the odor remained. Besides this towels were provided and management was helpful. We were able to check in very early upon arrival to ocean city because our room was ready. I would recommend the windjammer for location. In the future I would research the neighboring rentals as well.

Spacious, central, great

The condo is actually a lot more spacious than it looks in the pictures. We were definitely pleasantly surprised. It is walking distance to lots of restaurants and bars. The little picnic area was nice for eating seafood. All of the units surrounding our unit were super friendly. All in all we would stay here again no doubt! Thanks guys!
