Barwon River caters to fishing, swimming, SUPing, kayaking, and walking the shoreline. Plenty of cafes and restaurants locally, with many more restaurants, wineries, breweries around the region. Adventure Park is a great day out with the kids - just 10 mins drive away.

Newly renovated, spotless house. Comfy beds
We had a lovely week away. The house was only a short drive to the back beach, which was the main purpose of our get away. Everyone loved the beds. We stayed when it was over 30 degrees each day so appreciated the split system and ceiling fan in each room. We would absolutely stay again.

Sunset Days for Christmas
There were four of us (two adult couples) in the three bedroom cottage. It was well set up, very clean, and having two bathrooms is a great advantage. The kitchen is also well equipped, with large stove and fridge and plenty of crockery and utensils.
On the downside: the dishwasher was out of order - rather unfortunate over Christmas.
Three of our bedside lights needed new globes (which we provided). There were spare globes in a cupboard, but none for these lights.
There was one very hot day, and while the reverse cycle aircon worked well in the living area and one bedroom, the unit in the front bedroom was not working properly and could not cool the room.
The location is very noisy, busy street near a busy intersection - the front verandah BBQ area looks lovely, but traffic noise means you can't actually have a sustained conversation, so we cooked outside and ate inside.
We did have a lovely few days' holiday, but not sure I would book it again, largely because of the busy street.

Girls stay
House was immaculate, beds comfortable. Netflix on tv but could not get to work. Location a bit out of town. Very difficult trying to get in touch with someone prior to stay to discuss a Covid issue - incorrect phone number on email and no email reply in timely manner.

GREAT HOUSE, GREAT LOCATION!
We enjoyed our stay. It was a golf weekend and the central location was great. Shopping centre around the corner was very handy also. House is very clean and we would stay there again.
