Loved the quiet peaceful isolation of the place. On one side, the ocean and the other, the bayou. The birdwatching on both porches is amazing. Easy 25 min to town/restaurants. Sunrises and sunsets. Beautiful sand beach. Mississippi Sandhill Crane National Wildlife Refuge is 25 min away (there are less than Mississippi Sandhill cranes left in the world. They are a non-migratory subspecies of crane. 15 min away is 12 Oaks Historical site is interesting and has a short hike to the bayou. The seafood is abundant in the restaurants. Fun to explore the area.

The beach house was great and peaceful however we had cold weather that was hard to regulate the heat in the loft. Also the hot water in the upstairs bathroom didn't get warm enough for shower so we shared the main shower in the master bedroom.

This was a beautiful and spacious property located on the beach. The balcony that faced the water was incredible for watching sunsets and the walks along the shoreline were wonderful. The home was stocked well and tastefully decorated. Favorite restaurant was Maison De Lu - great food and atmosphere. Ate most of our meals at the home since the kitchen had everything we needed and it was to beautiful to leave the perfect setting.

Perfect quiet getaway

The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood. Just feet from the water. Very relaxing to sit in the nice chairs by the beach or on the lounge chairs on the deck. Did site seeing or hiking in the morning and relaxed by the water in the afternoon. Perfect vacation in a perfect place.

Beach House Thanksgiving

We have stayed at many VRBOs around the country and in other countries. This one was was very good, but there are many opportunities to make it even better: no bath wash (or throwaway bath bars), no dishwashing liquid, misleading/incorrect wifi access instructions, TV controls in living room very difficult to use, instructed that use of the advertised fireplace could not be used, required to pay a pet fee when not in listing or price detail, large wood splnter in handrail, poor performing clothes dryer, no dishcloths,

I can’t say enough good things about this house. Location was fantastic, right in the beach as close as you can get without being in the actual water. The house was great, clean and well maintained with all the necessities a family would need during a week long stay. The communication with the owners prior to check in was excellent and my family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and absolutely would stay here again when we come back next time. I highly recommend this home for any family who wants a nice relaxing place to stay on the beach and close to many restaurants, casinos, and any other thing a vacationing family may need! This place will not disappoint!
