We're sorry to hear you did not thoroughly enjoy your stay in our Ogunquit house, as most of our renters clearly do! We wish you had texted or called us during your stay. (We provided you with both of our phone numbers in advance, and we texted you twice during your stay). There are two flat screen tvs. The one in the living room is clearly located on one side of the living room, so that comment was quite puzzling to us. We personally check each room of the house before each stay. There absolutely are no leaks in the bathroom (I'm thinking that some people in your group probably didn't turn off the faucet completely). This is a non-smoking property, as you, the person booking, were informed prior to renting. There absolutely was no smell of smoke before your arrival. I personally inspected the home. As for cleaning, there were no issues. I personally inspected each room of the 10-room house in advance. (As I indicated to you when you inquired prior to your arrival, we ask that the house be left clean because unfortunately, if we don't, some people leave it in an unreasonable condition). The small cleaning fee is extremely modest, especially given the size of the home and property (two decks and yard), and the fact that we take additional steps to thoroughly disinfect the entire home, because of the pandemic and our own standards. We're really glad you enjoyed the comfortable space in the home, great parking, and also its perfect location on a quiet street, close to everything. We really wish you had simply contacted us during your stay. We are very surprised at your rating, as we received 16 five-star reviews this year alone! Sincerely, Karen and Andrew
