Take in a gorgeous view of Ogunquit Beach, the Atlantic Ocean, and the coast of Southern Maine from this scenically situated, second-floor condo at The Lookout. Enjoy access to wonderful on-site amenities, as well as the heart of Ogunquit within a few blocks' walk.

The Lookout condo complex sits just up Israel Head Road from the Lobster Point Lighthouse, in a lovely location overlooking the ocean. The grounds include a seasonal (semi-heated) pool, a tennis court, shuffleboard, a grilling and picnic area, and coin-operated laundry facilities. Downtown Ogunquit - home to a number of great restaurants and shops - is less than half a mile up the road, and beautiful Ogunquit Beach is a quarter-mile beyond.

Take the elevator up to the second floor to be greeted by a light-filled living space decorated in elegant coastal style. Step out onto the balcony to find comfortable chairs, an outdoor dining set, and a commanding view of the ocean and coast before you.

The interior is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully equipped, offering a bright living room and a lovely kitchen with stainless steel appliances and richly hued wood cabinetry. There's a TV with cable service and a DVD player for movie nights, complimentary WiFi to help you plan your coastal excursions, and window air conditioning for your summer comfort.

Needs to be modernized! Paint peeling everywhere and cleaning is an afterthought. It’s also not easy for walking back the room. All directions are straight up hill so be prepared.

Great location; nice place

We love this location and have stayed at other units in this building. They are all very unique and quaint. This one has a great view overlooking the inlet at the beach. Can’t beat the view!This unit is a little dated with its furnishings and it wasn’t totally spic and span clean. Not bad enough to call management but enough that we just wiped stuff out ourselves. (This may have been caused by an extended period of no one being there, as it is the offseason).With that said, we thought the value was good and we would stay there again.

Ogunquit in Autumn

We had a great stay at Lookout. Everything related to our stay was friendly, accessible, and beautiful. The location to town is a short walk via the road or the beautiful Marginal Way path that is very close to the Lookout. The property itself is exceptionally well-maintained and landscaped. Our condo was remarkable, with a view (window & deck) looking toward town, the beach, and the ocean. It was spotless, well-appointed, and decorated in a theme and style befitting its view and location. We will certainly be back again.

Fully stocked kitchen. Comfortable bed and two bathrooms. The view is great at high tide from the large windows! Nice deck as well. Close to shops and beach. Plenty of resteraunts nearby!

Nice stay despite the horrible communication with Vacasa

We booked the condo for two nights. Afterwards, Vacasa sent multiple emails with various instructions. We thought we were renting through VRBO but Vacasa is apparently the property manager. I haveno desire to go through all the issues we had with them, will just say it was not good. One tip: the lockbox with the key to the unit is not "to the left of the front door" as the instructions indicate. It is to the left, but waaaaaay to the left, nowhere near the front door. There is a hidden bike rack and the key is in a lockbox attached to that. Not fun at 8:30pm in 16 degree weather figuring that out... The apartment is a pictured. Beautiful view and spacious. The bed was fine, comfortable enough. The furnishings were quite dated if that matters to you. It looks like a hodgepodge of things they no longer used in their home - not cohesive at all. It was nice to have 2 bathrooms - the one off the living room was had a nice walk-in shower as opposed to the tub/shower combo in the bedroom. The funkiest part of the place is the floor in the living area - it is extraordinarily warped and goes up and down, up and down. I wished I had a marble to see which way it would roll. Older building, so that's probably why. I am home now but that didn't stop Vacasa from texting me at 5:30AM with instructions on checking out. Uh, I checked out yesterday, remember? Ugh

Christmas by the Sea Stay

We stayed in Ogunquit to participate in the Christmas by the Sea. The location was perfect, œ way between Main St and Perkins Cove, and the parade was just down the street. Because the room faced the ocean, we watched the fireworks from our balcony. Overall, it was a great experience for us.
