1st room #216 had blood drops in front of bathroom, there were what looked liked vomit stains and neither was cleaned off carpet. This is a health risk as both blood and vomit stains that have not been cleaned up are pathogens and as I have COPD I was at risk. Reassigned room # 123 and it was better but again I noticed blood drops on carpet at head of bed. Also found bug on bed in this room. The manager was not available for me to talk to but left a message. Staff states that they have mentioned these problems to manager but nothing is done. I will never stay in a Hawthorn Hotel again. Will send pictures tomorrow

Worst Hotel ever

If I could give this hotel less than one star I would. I will leave pictures of what we found in the room. The first thing is coffee stains on the counter, proving the counter never got wiped off. The next picture is a condom, thank God it was still in the wrapper on the shelf. The last one is puke in the ice bucket. Guy at the desk cusses me several times because I was asking questions about the deposit. I have no problem paying a deposit for the room but when the paper I was signing said $15 and he was charging me $50. They also photocopied my debit card to keep on file. I will never Return to this hotel they had no busines keeping a copy of my debit card. At check out all the Manager say is I’ll talk to him. Rooms are not clean and smell like dirty nasty stinky feet would not recommend staying.

As soon as we got off the elevator there was a horrible smell in the hall! Got to our room and tiny bugs - not bed bugs - were on the bed, ac unit, and in bathroom! Also, the tv had a huge crack in it and wousl not work! That was the pet floor that made it smell soooo bad! They put us on another floor and room. It was better until we woke up the next morning and there were those little bugs in the bathroom! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!
