Great Pines is a perfect location for visits to the Old Forge/Inlet area. We love that it is pet friendly. The bar/restaurant is great. Beds are comfy; nice linens and towels provided. On the downside, our room was cold---and we found that the a couple of the windows would not shut all the way and the door did not seal properly----lighting in the room was really poor; one lamp was actually broken. Not a bad place----but for what you charge, you need to give some attention to some of these details.

Not a real fireplace like shown in photos

Honeymoon room was nice and clean. Annoyed I payed more money for a fireplace room and the fireplace was not what was pictured on the photos. It was a plug in fake electric heater

Thank You for your review. Unfortunately the fireplace that was pictured online needed replacement parts that we were unable to get so we had to put something different in there. I appreciate your review regarding this and will take this into consideration when upgrading the fireplace in this room! We hope to see you again in the future!
