had dirty sheets and dirty towels. it’s like no one even looked at them. they just fixed it and didn’t even bother cleaning them.

Sorry to hear that your stay was not a better one and apologies if something was looked over. We have an outside company for our linen and will be making a complaint with them for stained sheets and we will make sure housekeeping uses a keen eye to spot these things before guests arrive. I stay at a lot of places like this at this price point from Cape Cod to the Canadian border therefore it's tough for me to complain. There are only three things I desire from a motor lodge: a level clean bed, a non-sticky floor and ample hot water for the shower. The Econolodge failed to deliver on the third criteria. The water wasn't cold but it never got hot. It was just a quarter-inch turn of the spigot short of a satisfactory bathing experience and in all my travels, this was the first time I have encountered consistent tepid water in the shower. This was no malfunction, you will not get hot water from these people. The hospitality industry weeps. Water down the coffee, skip the danish and corn flakes just don't go cheap on the hot water. While I'm at it, the fan in the heater unit also managed to be loud enough to drown out the TV but that was ok because you couldn't even get a movie channel anyway, just old sitcoms and local news. That was also a first. Usually you can get one movie channel even at the most frugal places. It's not a bad place, they just won't allow themselves to be good.

Thank your for leaving feedback on your recent stay with us and we are sorry that we did not meet your expectations. I believe the room you stayed in was 213 and if so we will have a plumber fix the water temp as we are required to have a safety in the handle so that it doesn't burn you, but it seems that is broken and the little plastic piece needs replacing. Apologies again, and we hope that we would have the opportunity to host you again.
