Stylish under thatch with park-like garden on the island Eiderstedt / Oldenswort

We live on the peninsula Eiderstedt in a thatched cottage on a mound, which was first mentioned in 1796 in the books. Our property is located on one of the most beautiful streets of Eiderstedt, which is lined with almost 50 thatched houses, Haubargen and farmhouses, as well as different fields and pastures with sheep, cows and horses. A great place to get away from the city life and come to rest. Therefore, guests are welcome only from 12 years.

The living room

The apartment is located in the 1st. Floor under the roof, directly with separate staircase from the entrance area. Due to the good room climate of the thatched roof prevails in every season a pleasant indoor climate. The dining room and kitchen area are separated from the sleeping area with a room divider in stallops. The shower room is equipped with underfloor heating, Victorian floor tiles and English fixtures and ceramics. Hair dryer, shampoo, soap and towels are of course available. Right in front of their apartment is the gallery, where a mold piano and the guest library can be found. Anyone who can play the piano is welcome to play.

We like to open our house for guests and are - if on site - always happy to contact for tips and a good conversation. Of course, we respect the privacy of our guests, just as we wish for ourselves. Dogs are very welcome, our cheerful pointer Kona is happy about every inn to play. The garden is fenced in the back and may be shared by our guests and four-legged friends. Of course, without guarantee, because we do not know how busy your dog can dig or jump.

We feel this place as a place of power full of positive energy,
are autonomous to tourist attractions, the Eider and the Wadden Sea. Lovable nice farmers live in our neighborhood - there are no pigs or chicken laying batteries. Accordingly, there is no typical odor nuisance or health hazard. All our neighbors deliver their milk regionally to the Osthusumer Dairy in Witzwort, where there is also a nice farm shop with regional products.

Access for guests

Common areas include the large hallway with tiled stove and the gallery with a selection of different books to read or play piano on our white piano (who can). In addition, our guests are allowed in the entire garden in the various areas to picnic, meditate, or just to look at the water and fields, to observe birds in the trees and bushes and possibly to sight wild on the opposite field ,

Urlaub auf dem Land

Sehr schönes Haus mit tollem Garten und einer sehr freundlichen Vermieterin. Unser Hund war sofort in die Zwergschafe schockverliebt. Wir hatten das Apartment im Obergeschoss, noch besser sind sicher die Apartments im Erdgeschoss, da eigene Terrasse und grĂ¶ĂŸere Fenster.

Schöner Kurzurlaub auf der Warft

Eine kleine schöne Ferienwohnung im oberen Stockwerk in einem wunderschönen Haus in einem prachtvollen Garten, neben einer kleinen Wiese mit den schönsten Schafen, die wir je gesehen haben. Dabei einige glĂŒckliche HĂŒhner, die es genossen, auf der Wiese herumzulaufen und in einer Sandkuhle zu baden. Freundliche Vermieterin, die sofort auf all unsere Fragen oder WĂŒnsche reagiert hat. In ca 25 km Entfernung zum Hundestrand St. Peter Ording. Unser Dackel war seeelig, konnte sich dort ohne Leine richtig austoben.

Ankommen und wohlfĂŒhlen

Es war ein wundervoller Aufenthalt. Wir haben uns Dank Steffis Herzlichkeit sofort wohl gefĂŒhlt. Der anliegende Garten ist zauberhaft und ĂŒberall gibt es etwas kleines zu entdecken. Die tierischen Mitbewohner sind sehr Menschen bezogen. Wir waren dort mit unserem Junghund, der sich blendend mit Steffis Hund Kona vertragen hat. Leider gab es einen Zwischenfall mit einem der HĂŒhner, der unsere Schuld war. Daher mein Rat, Hunde an der Schleppleine in den Garten lassen, falls ein ausgeprĂ€gter Jagdtrieb vorhanden ist. Wir danken Steffi sehr fĂŒr ihre Gastfreundschaft und können die Unterkunft nur wĂ€rmstens empfehlen :)

Absoluter WohlfĂŒhlort

Der Aufenthalt auf der Warft Simmerdeis war wundervoll! Die Umgebung, der Charm des Hauses, die tolle Einrichtung und die warmherzige Gastfreundschaft schaffen einen absoluten WohlfĂŒhlort, an dem man abschalten und Abenteuer zugleich erleben kann.

Entspannter WohlfĂŒhlort

Wer einen ruhigen und gemĂŒtlichen Urlaub möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Die zuvorkommenden und sympathischen Gastgeber begrĂŒĂŸen in einem wundervollen Reetdachhaus, die Wohnungen sind gut ausgestattet und sehr gemĂŒtlich. Sollte man trotzdem etwas benötigen wird sofort Abhilfe geschaffen. Das charmante Anwesen, das mit einem wundervollen Garten zum Entspannen einlĂ€dt, ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt fĂŒr Unternehmungen in alle Richtungen. Wir haben uns hier Ă€ußerst wohl und willkommen gefĂŒhlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Eine sehr schöne Auszeit

Wir haben uns spontan fĂŒr 3 NĂ€chte in der Warft Simmerdeis einquartiert. Die Unterkunft war trotz der ruhigen Lage sehr gut zu finden und wir wurden sehr herzlich begrĂŒĂŸt. Die Gastgeber sind wirklich sehr lieb und offen, ohne sich dabei aufzudrĂ€ngen. Man fĂŒhlt sich dort wirklich sehr gut aufgehoben. Das Zimmer ist so liebevoll eingerichtet, man merkt, dass hier jemand mit Herzblut dabei ist. Der große Garten vor Ort lĂ€dt zum Entspannen ein, fĂŒr etwas mehr "Trubel" gibt es StĂ€dte, die per Fahrrad / Auto gut zu erreichen sind. Wir wĂŒrden sehr gerne wieder kommen, beim nĂ€chsten mal auch gerne noch etwas lĂ€nger. Vielen Dank auch noch mal fĂŒr den leckeren Probierkuchen - der war wirklich köstlich. Teaumhafttes Anwesen in einem liebevoll gepflegten Park

Stefanie und Peter sind Àusserst aufmerksame, humorvolle und sehr sympatische Gastgeber. Wir haben am Lagerfeuer oder bei einem Gin Tonic schöne Momente und tolle GesprÀche erlebt. FANTASTISCH!

Die Ferienwohnung ist gemĂŒtlich und modern eingerichtet. Auch der riesige Garten ist wunderschön. Der Aufenthalt auf Warft Simmerdeis ist eine sehr willkommene Abwechslung fĂŒr StĂ€dter.

Tolle Hundeferien und charmante Gastgeberin

kleiner Traum unter Reetdach

Selten eine so geschmackvolle , Landhaus-stylische, mit Herz und hochwertigem Interieur eingerichtete Unterkunft erlebt. Auch der Garten.... einfach wunderschön! Hier stimmt einfach alles! Der perfekte Ort zum Entschleunigen! Dankeschön, dass unsere 2 HundemĂ€dels und wir in diesem kleinen Traum unter’m Reetdach unseren Kurzurlaub erleben durften. Erholsamer Urlaub mit Hund in idyllischer Umgebung

Die Ferienwohnung mit Gemeinschaftsraum und anschließendem Garten war super sauber und gepflegt. Sie war geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sowie auch das gesamte Haus. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und aufmerksam, auch fĂŒr unseren Hund wurden Sachen bereitgestellt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren innerhalb weniger Autominuten erreichbar und die GeschĂ€fte hatten auch Sonntags bis 17:00Uhr geöffnet. Ausflugsmöglichkeiten konnte man auch in der Umgebung finden. Zusammenfassend war es ein sehr schöner Urlaub, in dem man viel erleben konnte, aber auch mal zur Ruhe kommen konnte.
