Vary displeased with the condition of apartment when we arrived. Like walking into a boys college dorm room. Looked as if someone had been living in it up to the point we got there. Nothing had been cleaned. Floors, counters, bathroom all extremely dirty. Dust all over to a point that I don't think it has had a true deep clean. The rug getting out of shower was upside down when we got there, my guess is because the underside looked better than how dirty the top was. Dirty, dissheveled sheets on bed with no extra sheets or blankets or anything. Two dirty towels in bathroom with no extras. Had to go to store when we arrive to get detergent so I could wash towels and sheets so we could do the only two things we needed room for, sleep and wash. Had to keep in contact with host as we are arriving so son could meet us to give us keys and which point he came down from room and walk us back up there. So he had to have seen the state the room was left in. Had early flight on departure day so left early in morning and had to keep asking host how to get keys back to them which they did not have plan for until late the evening before. When I mentioned to host about the condition of room on arrival his response was they had a quick turn around. Unacceptable excuse in my opinion. Could be a nice place in a great location but they have to actually clean it, probably deep clean, and put together better system for arrival and departure.
