A beautiful spot and view. Lovely and warm and had everything we needed. Beds comfy. We were warned about the steep driveway, however some branches need to be trimmed, our vehicle kept beeping. Excellent communication from host as well.

Well designed Thermal Mass house in a beautiful, tranquil setting. Lovely getaway from the busy city. Short drive to beach and shops. Two stores close by and a Four Square, also a popular fish and chop shop and bar. Limited internet access, no tv, so we played lots of family games. Only slightly negative point was the steep driveway, but my husband coped by putting his foot down! Joanna was a great host and very responsive. We would definitely stay again

Love the serenity

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. Location was ideal for us and we could not fault it. Beds were comfy and so were the couches. Next time i will remember to take a bluetooth speaker but otherwise the lack of tv was a bonus. Went to the opononi hotel to watch the league and take the kids out for dinner. Locals are really friendly.As for the driveway, i left that for hubby to navigate. Didn't look as bad as i had envisioned but i probably would park down the bottom if I was on my own. Overall loved the accommodation

Relaxing

It was a lovely stay, and I appreciated the tranquility. The service with Spark mobile was somewhat limited, but it felt refreshing to disconnect from devices for a while. The driveway was a bit challenging, but it was definitely worth it.

Off the beaten track gem!

Northland, Hakianga, Omapere and this tranquil little hideaway from all the madness out there was a real tonic and highlight of the month we spent exploring En-Zee (south and north islands). Not for city slickers or those who want to spend their time in front of a TV screen! If natural surroundings and beauty are your thing, then this is a great place to hang your hat for a while and recharge your spirit!

Secluded paradise

Such a lovely property. The main windows open up to the elements, the sunset views are gorgeous (plus you're a short drive from some really stunning views)We had a great time here. The space is modern and minimalist and really feels like a relaxing stay away from home. Helpful hint: keep the blinds open for the morning to rise with the sun, and closer then up after 5pm for a decent night temp. Loved it!

Lovely 2-bedroom home with beautiful views, no tv or wi-fi so it’s perfect for those who want to switch off and relax. Rural road and steep driveway but worth the trip. Good kitchen, open plan living area but we found the main bed was very firm. Our host, Joanna, went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable during our stay.

Perfect Long Weekend Getaway in a Scenic Paradise

Had an amazing long weekend getaway! The location was beautiful with a truly scenic view perfect for relaxing and taking in nature.
