enjoyable break with a short walk to the beach. House had everything we needed apart from the BBQ had no gas but we managed without it. Would book again.
Wonderful property if you are looking for a place away from the city. Excellent and accurate communications with the property management team, many thanks Wendy. Check in was super easy and this was by far and away the best equipping residence that we have ever stayed in. The property had a large outdoor area including a kitchen plus a shaded area if you wanted to get out of the sun. We were only a block from the beach if the ocean is what you are looking for and there was great fishing in the nearby lakes if you bring your boat. I would also add the Opotiki Golf Club was accommodating and made it very easy to get out on their course. During our stay we were fortunate enough to have met the property owners, Caroline and Malcolm, and shared a glass of wine with them on the propertyâs spacious deck. They even invited us out to their Station, but sadly we werenât able to take them up on their generous offer. Perhaps next time.
The house was dark and had 3 bulbs broken. The TV had no volume. We were ghere in a storm and the light in the lounge were dull and we felt like it was a cave. It was hard to find the tea and coffee. Only 2 wine glasses left also. Photos did not live up to the house.
