Great vacation home!

Wonderful place

We stayed here for our 2021 moose hunt and didn't regret it one bit! When we arrived the cabin was spotless - plenty of space, ultimate comfort, and astounding view. We will definitely be back again!

ANOTHER GREAT STAY!

Another GREAT experience staying at 60 W Side Drive! From the moment we walked into the impeccably clean property, to the spectacular sun rises coming up in the distance over Saddleback Mountain, to watching the deer roam at dusk each day...we could not have asked for a better family vacation spot!

Rangeley's Best!

We have had excellent communications with Morton & Furbish on multiple rentals in Rangeley the last few years
.so let me start there. This year, we found a FANTASTIC hillside cabin to spend a few days in while we were in the area. Relatively new construction, with everything we needed! Would definitely stay in this same home again!

Breathtaking Views

Location was perfect for our family of 6. We enjoyed watching the sunrise each morning along with the mountain and lake views. The pellet stove was a big hit! The house was very clean. The air hockey table and gaming station were nice features. We will definitely be back again.

August Family Vacation in Rangeley

We rented this house for a week long family vacation in Aug 2022. The house is spectacular and the views of the lake are breathtaking. During the week we visited several scenic places, did some short hikes in Rangeley, held a family gathering, rented a boat, and enjoyed being together at his beautiful setting. The house is well provisioned with modern appliances, Direct TV, and good internet service.

Rangeley Ski-cation

Love this area!! This is our third visit to Saddleback and will not be our last. Beautiful home, great location! I could not have asked for more. The only minor disappointment was the fireplace was not working. Not a deal breaker, but we love to come back after a cold day of skiing and warm up by a fire. Again, wasn’t a huge deal and we loved our time there. Looking forward to the next trip in the near future.

Another GREAT Experience!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property! Upon arrival, we opened the door to an incredibly clean home which made it immediately comfortable for our family. It was a winter weather day and we requested a bit more sand and salt and a very friendly gentleman came almost immediately. Anytime we had a question, we received quick responses and always with a friendly smile. The view of the lake from the living area and the outside deck creates a non-ending view of relaxation! We would highly recommend this property!

Breath taking!!!

This place was amazing the view was amazing they had all the accommodations we needed Snowmobile Trail right down the road. The house was immaculate. If I could give it 10 stars I would. Amazing stay hosted by Morton and Furbish

The view at this home is simply incredible and unparalleled in Rangeley. We have stayed here multiple times now for our annual snowmobile getaway and absolutely love this spot. It has direct trail access, close to the village, stores and restaurants too which is super convenient. It features an arcade console, air hockey, fully equipped kitchen to cook and entertain a group. Looking forward to making continued memories ahead from this little slice of heaven up north. Thank you to the wonderful hosts at Morton and Furbish and owners for having us year after year. PS, as advertised the driveway is steep and be ready to get creative to get your truck and trailers up.

Great Winter Rental!

Loved this rental! Great central heating system plus the pellet stove. Stayed nice and cozy all weekend! The house had everything we needed. The views are amazing from the living room/kitchen/loft. Comfy beds. Lots of games and large TV to keep everyone entertained. Would definitely stay here again. Fit the six of us nicely. Three private and good sized bedrooms plus the loft space. It was ~5 minute drive to the Oquossoc market and bars/restaurants. ~15 minute drive into the town of Rangeley. 25 minute drive to Saddleback. Morton & Furbish staff were amazing as always!

Spring Get Away with Clear Skies..and a little snow

We loved this home! Not only did it fit our needs (5 adults) re: large deck to observe the skies and breath taking views of the lake, but also had a well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and plenty of pillows. Yes, there was a hair dryer, numerous wine bottle openers and 2 full baths with good water pressure to shower. The outside deck furniture is very comfortable and durable. A fire pit was available to use and wood was provided. Wi fi was strong and we were amazed with the number of outlets in this home. Suggestions: bring a tub non skid mat.. I always carry one with me.

WE love it at 60 West. My only recommendations would be for a pillow upgrade, more glasses and coffee mugs (there were only 5 I believe) and I would suggest getting a thick rug pad to muffle the sound in the upstairs bedroom. My son was in the bedroom with two beds and you can hear every foot step and literally see through a crack in the floor. Given my recommendations, it will not stop us from returning this summer!

Breathtaking view

I can't tell you just how much we enjoyed our stay 60 West Side Drive! This home was everything as advertised. It was clean upon arrival, well stocked with dishes, pots and pans. And the appliances were all modern and easy to use. There was even an air hockey table and a throw back video arcade table which the whole family thoroughly enjoyed playing! The home had more than enough space for our family of four. But the highlight of this home was the enormous deck which gave a direct view of Rangeley Lake. I watched the sunrise every morning of our stay and it was just breathtaking! Morton and Furbish was very quick to respond to our one question upon arrival which we really appreciated! I would definitely return to this rental and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to stay in the Rangeley area!!

Our 2nd Stay at 60 West Side Drive

We loved this house last year and wanted to return. We were not disappointed. Foliage was almost at peak. The house was as comfortable as we remembered. We did lose power during a heavy rain storm, and thank God the owners had a whole house generator which came on right away! Our favor spot is on the deck, night and day. We bring our telescopes and enjoy the dark sky, with the loons and owls in the background. We also enjoyed using the fire pit. A suggestion...when we come in from the driveway at night, there is no light on the back stone steps nor a railing. Maybe a shielded lite that points down on the stone steps would be helpful. We have already booked a return for Spring 2025.
