Stains on pillows, rust in fridge, paint peeling, tiny toilet, shower curtain hung in bottom of tub Couldn't find toster till day before i left.Door would knock you down trying to get out.Sadest furniture that I've seen since the 70s! Will not ever stay again.
Great rental for the price you pay! Furniture and appliances a bit dated with signs of use but what would you expect for this price? The entire stay we never had issues with elevator, parking, crowded beach and pool like large complexes. I will definitely come back here! Love having a door code no key to keep up with!!
It was a perfect size for my husband and I. Perfect to walk to the beach. The condo itself was dirty. I finally wiped down the kitchen wall - it had something splattered over it. I don't think it had been vacuumed for quite awhile. There was everything we needed as far as a coffee pot frig and microwave stove - however the oven did not heat properly. The bed was very comfortable - not sure I would use the sleep out sofa - it sunk when we sat on it. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony - wonderful view. Met some of the tenants that live there- very nice people
Cleanliness: 6/10 It seems that the housekeepers maybe rush through the basics. Doing a quick look through it seems clean enough, but after looking at details, it could have been cleaner. We moved a chair to get a better view of the TV and there were a handful of pretzels under the chair, and I felt the need to wipe the surfaces down again. Also I have a 3 year old that doesn't understand the need to wear house shoes, so the bottoms of his feet were Very dirty after walking around the condo for a bit. Not sure if they mop or not?
Maintenance: There was an awful smell coming from the sinks drain that was fixed after I ran hot water, soap, and let the garbage disposal run for a few minutes. A few of the light sources would not come on, most important one the master bedroom ceiling and its lights did not work. The key code when we first arrived did not work, so we had to call to get it reset. I will say the management was very helpful and quick to respond with the issues I reported. It seems that the first couple issues could have been fixed if the housekeepers would do a better inspection.
Comfort: Great big TV, comfortable couch, but the mattress was very uncomfortable I woke with an achy back every morning. I wish rental agencies realized the importance of a good nights sleep while on vacation, It's not fun on the 2nd night to be thinking, I can't wait to get home and sleep in my bed.
Location: was a very nice location on the beach next to a cool looking pier where you can catch some shade if needed and that spot on the beach wasn't over crowded like it was looking further down in both directions.
Pool/Access: The pool was very clean and had a nice clean restroom next to it. The access was nice leading to beach.
Price: This is what attracted me the most it cost as much for me to stay at this condo having a gulf front as it would have staying in a hotel 2 miles up the road. I suppose this is why I didn't make a big deal out of a few of the issues we had. if we would have paid what most other condo's were charging I would have been a bit more unhappy. Overall, for the price, the condo was a good deal.
Would I stay again? Yes, if I was offered the same great price, I stayed 4 nights the week of Memorial Day (the kick start of high rates) and it was on average 300-400$ cheaper than the rest of the rentals.
