Welcome to Tradewinds 503, your serene Gulf-front retreat in Orange Beach. Perched on the 5th floor, this beautifully decorated 1-bedroom, 2-bath condo offers stunning direct views of the Gulf of Mexico from every window, providing the perfect backdrop for your beach vacation. Relax to the soothing sound of waves crashing against the shore as you unwind in this cozy coastal haven.

The Primary suite beckons with a cozy Queen-sized bed and a 32-inch flat-screen TV, ensuring restful nights of sleep after days spent exploring the beach and beyond. In the living room, a comfortable sleeper sofa provides additional sleeping space, while a set of Twin hall bunks offers cozy accommodations for younger travelers or additional guests. The fully equipped kitchen allows you to prepare delicious meals, and you can enjoy dining at the table or out on the balcony while taking in the Gulf views.

Parking
Tradewinds does require parking passes. The complex charges $33/parking pass and limits two vehicles per condo. Your parking passes will be on the counter in the kitchen upon arrival. Fill this out completely and place it VISIBLY on your vehicle's dashboard.
No parking of trailers, RVs, or watercraft allowed onsite.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The location and views are great, and the condo had what we needed for our family. The host was kind and quick to communicate, which we appreciated. With that being said, there were a few things that didn’t sit well with us. Before our trip, we were contacted and offered the option to come a night earlier at a “discounted rate,” which we ended up negotiating down. We were happy to add the extra night, but upon arriving earlier than expected, we asked if early check-in was possible & were told it would be an additional 50. Given that the property was already cleaned and ready, this felt like an unnecessary extra charge, especially after agreeing to extend our stay. I’d also recommend carefully reviewing the breakdown of charges when booking. We were automatically charged for two car passes, even though we only had one vehicle, and had to request that this be corrected. As for the condo itself, it’s a cute spot with beautiful views. However, it does feel more worn in person than it appears in the photos. We don’t mind a place with charm and character, but some basic maintenance seems to be overlooked. For example, previous reviews mentioned a broken master bathroom handle and a damaged kitchen trash can…both of which are still not fixed. It costs 20 to replace a trash can. The shower curtains are starting to show mold at the bottom, and there is visible water damage in one of the showers. Overall a good stay for our family.

We stayed Fri-Sunday. Check-in was late. It took a min to get a response on why we hadn’t received our check-in information. When we arrived at 4, cleaning crew was still in the room (which we understood). The cleaning crew let us in before we ever received our entrance info. I spoke with management/owner who was super kind and apologized. Gave me the code for the door over the phone. We will see if they issue a credit for late check in. We spent most of our time on the balcony or at the beach. Another occupant gave us the pool code (never received this communication from management) so luckily they were kind otherwise we would have issues getting in. Ease of access to the beach was a huge perk. The pool was nice and warm as well. In general, we enjoyed our stay. I would, however, suggest some upgrade recommendations: -The sofa bed needs a new mattress (you can feel the coils and the bar underneath)- the outlets in the single bedroom do not support whatever you’re plugging in so we had to charge things in the bathroom -we moved the coffee pot to the outlet by the sink to get it to work For the total we paid including fees, we will likely stay somewhere else next time

Room was nice n basically clean. The drain in the master bedroom was gross and I know there was some here in there. Other than that everything was perfect. I do have to say it was my first time using a code to get in a room and then I had a hard time with the door opening, which I found out was because the battery was going dead. My main concern was a number to call in that case or in case of an emergency. I’m sure there was a phone number somewhere, but I did contact whatever number was on the website and they did say they would send somebody over to fix the door. I was glad I came when I did because starting Thursday there was a lot of kids screaming and running around running through the halls. I don’t mean spring break kids I mean littler kids probably about eight or nine years old. I would definitely stay there again. I’m looking for somewhere to Snowbird down the road. I don’t know if that’s an option with this condo or not or if there’s a better rate if you stay longer, but we really did enjoy it. also another thing the washer makes a horrible, horrible loud noise the whole entire cycle and I use the washer quite a bit so it wasn’t a one time thing other than that it did great.

Excellent view of the beach from our balcony. We enjoyed the heated pool as well. However, the unit is dated and needs some TLC. The trash can foot pedal was broken. The faucet handle in the primary bathroom sink came off. Under the mattress in the bunk had food crumbs and dirt. Providing More than 1 roll of toilet paper would also be helpful.

Condo was smaller than I thought. Old condominium, many items were missing from the pictures such as curtain and rug in master, coffee table and pillows missing in living room and the living room tv was much, much smaller than the one in the picture. Hallway bunks were crib size. WiFi was in and out all week.Property issues were no communication about parking pass. I paid 30 with the security officer to make sure I wouldn’t get towed just to come find out they were in the room and could not get a refund. I emailed VHC regarding the security officer as she told my boys no football at the pool or she will evict us and she knows what room we are in. I went to talk to her about the conversation with my boys and she got in my face. Told her she should have shown them the sign that says so instead of threat of eviction. Never heard back from host’s rental company. Condo was more of an efficiency to me. View was amazing, balcony was sticky.

Perfect family vacation

The condo was exactly how it was listed online, including pictures. It’s definitely a basic condo, the view was awesome to have with coffee in the morning. We made dinners at the condo, definitely bring the basics with you such as salt/pepper. I made coffee but thankfully I brought ground coffee and coffee filters. I also brought an extra trash bag and toilet paper roll since no extra were provided. I do believe we paid way more than we should have but we did have an amazing family vacation overall. Communication with management was great and check in was the best process ever we have had! Would stay here again.
