Big Disappointment
Where to begin. This Resort has potential to be great but failed on every level for our 1st time, 1st vist, family reunion vacation. When we drove up to the front gate, security was arguing with a owner of one of the condos about putting his sticker in his window. He had had it laminated because he did not want to attach any adhesive to his glass. She would not accept that and asked to see it and walked off with it! She would not give it back to him!! He was furious. She should have been fired!
The checkin was unorganized. Parking was hard to find as cars were everywhere. The condo was very spacious but not clean and we were shorted towels as we had to wash everyday. They stated there was a shortage from where they receive them. There was mold on the shower curtain along with the shower tile. The door lock to the bathroom was broken as it locked the person in. Maintenance had to replace it 1st day there. The floors were not mopped only swept as the bottom of our shoes turned black! One of their pools had grown men playing football trying to knock over their arranged beer cans that their children were stacking for them. The grounds for our entire stay were filthy. They had zero security or employees walking the property. We heard our neighbors above all night every night. Their computer generated sign in the elevator stated quiet time was from 10pm-8am. What a joke. Not 1 person tried to enforce that. I used earplugs as the first night security didn't even seem to care. They had workers banging, scraping and painting the ceiling on our balcony for 2 days so we could not walk on the balcony as they did not clean the white plaster that had fallen all over the entire balcony and all of the furniture on the balcony. We had to leave a message with management due to an emergency she had. She never returned our call. The views were beautiful and we made the best of our visit but our family of 10 (my mother turned 82 and we were celebrating her) will never come back. This was a catastrophe.
