BEACHBALL PROPERTIES VACATION RENTAL POLICIES:
RENTAL AGREEMENT: Tenant Vacation Rental Agreement must be electronically signed to secure your reservation. Please read carefully. This is a legally binding document.
NO SMOKING: All properties are non-smoking.
AGE RESTRICTION: Must be at least 25 years older to book a BEACHBALL PROPERTIES vacation rental. A person 25 years or older must be staying at the property for the entire duration of the booking. There will be no refunds issued for anyone booking under false pretenses.
CHECK-IN: Check-in is at 4PM. Early check-in is not possible, sorry but no exceptions.
CHECK-OUT: Check-out is at 10AM. Check out after 10AM will be charged an additional day.
MONTHLY/SNOWBIRD RENTALS: Available from November through February. Call to ask about monthly rates.
PARKING PASSES: 2 - The cost of parking passes is set by each Homeowner s Association and is subject to change at any time without notice. U-hauls, trailers, boats, jet skis, buses, etc. are not allowed on property.
CANCELLATION POLICY RELAXED: Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in shall receive a 100% refund of the amount they have paid. For cancellations between 14 and 30 days before check-in, 50% of the total reservation costs shall be refunded. For cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the beginning date of the reservation, NO REFUNDS will be issued. Refunds shall not be issued for late arrivals, early departures, or inclement weather conditions including hurricanes and named storms. We do offer optional travel insurance which we highly encourage all guests to purchase.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: Guests receive a starter pack of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, and travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, and soap per bathroom. Starter supplies are not intended to last for the duration of your stay. Linens are furnished but please bring your own beach towels.

The indoor hot tub and pool were excellent. Little cool for outdoor pool (March). Condo was very clean. Convenient to Publix, Walmart. Overlooked the beach. Two negative things stood out. The first, we came back from the beach and were locked out of the condo for a couple of hours. They had to replace the entire lock mechanism. Things happen. Customer service was quick and seemed genuinely apologetic
Location was great! Code didnât work at check in. It was resolved quickly. Kitchen wasnât as stocked as we were used to in other condos. No regular baking sheet or kitchen scissors. Furniture had stains. We stayed in 3 bed room. Door stop on main door was broken and had to finally tape it to get it stop hanging. 2 of the TVs couldnât get a signal. Tried to call daily and couldnât get an update. I asked to speak to management and never got a call. Finally someone came and fixed tv after 5 days. Door stop was never fixed. Probably wonât rent from Beachball again. Too many issues and no communication when Iâm spending and on a vacation.
The unit was clean overall but the shower head and vent in bathroom was disgusting with mold. There were only five towels and wash rags in the entire condo for five guests. Only one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, which wasnât a complete roll. No extras.
There is a horrible mildew smell that hits you when you open the door. The sheets in the master had crumbs in them- not sand. We found an extra set of sheets in closet. We put them on and they had stains all over. Looked like mildew stains. The curtain in the master was disgusting. It had stains all over it, holes in it, and had thick dust/fuzzies in every fold. It was visibly soiled from across the room. The oven didnât work. There was a counter top mini oven. We called the night we checked in about the sheets and smell. We went to the management company the next day with all the other issues. They were like o yeh thatâs the unit with the broken oven. Then they asked had they not called and told me. No. There was no other properties available. They did give my cleaning fee back. There were several lights out. Several plugs worked when they wanted to. The furniture was older and dingy. The ceiling had patches all over it and was peeling in multiple places. There were several places where cobwebs were on the wall. Overall for the money I paid (over $3,000) I was not satisfied. If it had been cheaper I probably wouldnât be as disappointed; I would not have expected as much. The supervisor just kept asking what do you want us to do. Well at the point we were already there and no availabilities around us. The cleaner that arrived the morning after we checked in said the unit does have a smell to it and her cleaning team had reported it multiple times and nothing has been done.
We enjoyed our visit and will come again. It was a perfect place to stay for us. We had never been to Orange Beach and picked the perfect place. We enjoyed our visit. It is number one in my book.
Overall it is a great location and the condo had lots of space. The view of the beach and the fact that the master bedroom opens to the balcony is great. However, the property is in dire need of upgradesâŠâŠ.which from what I saw was being done while we were there. The construction made it a bit difficult because they started working early and we had no privacy during this time. We woke up one morning to see workmen on the balcony, right by the bedroom door seemingly painting something, and we were scantily clothed. That was frightening and embarrassing. I also started sneezing as soon as I walked in at checkin because the condo smelled very moldy and was dusty. There were cobwebs even on that wooden thing on the dining table. The ceiling fans were very dusty and the master bed looked like the sheets werenât changed. I did see the sign about reporting uncleanliness but at that point thought it would be best to not have anyone in the room with all our possessions plus we were tired from our long drive and just wanted to settle in, so I did the best I could do we would be comfortable.
