Would stay here again at a similar rate

They are renovating the large pool and area around it until December 2025ish so it is blocked off. There is a smaller "adult" pool where kids could swim with adults. People put towels on chairs/loungers by 7AM and seem to stay the day which isn't considerate of other guests. There is also a toddler pool. The restaurant choices on-property are 3 plus a gelatoria and Cinabon. Sunset has a car rental desk in the lobby for convenience. Resort staff are very helpful and kind. Large grocery store is within a block. Full size frig/freezer, gas stove top, pots, fry pans, microwave, microwaveable bowls, strainer, pitcher, toaster, cooking/grilling utensils and place settings for 4 are provided. There are grills in the courtyard of the property. The bed is very comfortable, seemingly a larger queen size. Never ran out of hot water for showers. Tap water is very good to drink. There is a safe in the room and a broom if you, like me, desire to keep the sand accumulation down. I greatly appreciate the discount that made it possible for us to book this wonderful accommodation.

This resort is not 4 stars. Main pool is closed place is not updated and there is construction everywhere. Check in is late and check out is early. Restaurants are not good at all. If you are planing to stay in a resort with all amenities do not come to this place.

My wife and I have stayed at LaCabana 10 times over the past 20 years. The staff and facilities are first class. They have an excellent gym facility and are currently doing renovations of the swimming pool area to improve the customer experience. Have added pickleball courts (2) and several grilling areas. Best beach in Aruba is across the street.

The stay was great we love Aruba. First time staying at La cabana the hotel is very nice clean and a good location however, we were never made aware of the main pool closure. That was very disappointing. hotels.com should’ve made us aware at the time of booking

Hotel right next to Eagle Beach

Lovely clean hotel right next to Eagle Beach. Not as much activities in the area compared to Palm Beach a little further up the road but was still a nice quiet location.

LaCabana never disappoints! Have not been in a couple of years but added the health hut for delicious smoothies and acaie bowls, kids and adult pools. Across the street from one of the best beaches in the world, Eagle Beach, what more can you ask.

Loved our stay here - so much so I felt compelled to leave a review on the plane ride home! The most notable part was the friendly, efficient, and kind front desk staff (thank you, Eli, for checking us in!). We enjoyed the quick walk to the beach (<5 mins), easy towel service, many and free palapas, and the pool and hot tub were clean and great to relax in after the beach! The room itself was great with all the accommodations we needed. Area was super safe and conveniently close to restaurants and the grocery store (we are happy we rented a car though). Plenty of free self parking at the hotel also a plus! Our only cons are that we never had our room cleaned (but it was fine), the adult only pool was closed during our entire stay but unsure why, and lastly we had a strange and unpleasant encounter with one of the workers at the cafe in the lobby. We were given a weird sweet milk when we ordered a matcha green tea latte. When we brought it back, she said it was not a matcha (we agreed!) but insinuated we had brought something random back for a free drink and was both wrong and aggressive. She lectured us to keep the receipt next time (they never gave us one in the first place). She did not offer a refund, she replaced it with a hot coffee which was also strange.

This was the perfect 5 day stay for a family of 4 with 2 small children.We usually stay at a different resort, but this one was just as great. Kids pool was right next to the playground which was so convenient. We had a relaxing vacation.
