This delightfully appointed efficiency cottage is conveniently located in the heart of beautiful Oriental, easily within walking distance to anywhere in the Village. Sailors, adventurers, weekend warriors, artists and those who are just looking to get away will enjoy this ramped, dog friendly efficiency apartment located in the heart of the Village of Oriental. Come for a few nights, a week or more. This property is within walking distance to the Oriental Harbor, a coffee shop, a variety of restaurants, a couple of art galleries, shopping, brewery, marinas, Oriental boat ramp and more.

Serendipity Cottage features an open combination living, kitchen, dining and bedroom with queen bed and full bath with shower. Kitchenette has everything you need for your stay including refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and Keurig, cups, plates, utensils, and basic cookware. WiFi and Internet TV is complimentary. Linens and towels are provided for your stay. Off street parking is available in shared parking lot.

Nearest boat ramp is located less than a mile away in Oriental. Driveway has plenty of room to park your vehicle and boat/trailer.

Our little cottage

Our up coming reunion may have been filled with planning but finding this little gem was a breeze. The ownership communicated well and not a note was missed. The property was amazing, clean, cute and had every little finishing touch to make us feel right at home. The location was perfectly and conveniently placed within a 3 minute stroll for coffee and amazing views. What an exceptional find. Thank you!

My Staty

I loved the cottage! I will suggest a few things: The front door knob is loose and the doors do not align to use the dead bolt. Having a small table and chairs where the sitting chairs would be a nice option for those that could use more table space to eat as well as use a laptop computer.

Lovely Cottage in a Beautiful and Quaint Village

Very nicely appointed place. Comfortable bedding, plenty of towels, plates, etc. It is located near The Bean Coffee Shop, near M & M's Cafe, Barcos, and other facilities in the beautiful village of Oriental.

Everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. We requested a late (11:00pm) check-in and when we arrived the cottage was lit up and easily accessible. The location allowed us to walk to restaurants, a local brewery, and a coffee shop. We will definitely stay here again during our visit to the area.

Quaint and clean

We really enjoyed staying in Serendipity II. It was decorated so cute for the fall and Halloween season. It made it very homey and cozy. Plenty of blankets since it was cool the couple of days we were there. Had everything we needed to make a couple of meals and hot beverages. And we even enjoyed the lower covered area by doing some yoga. Great little place. Thanks again for having us!

Great Place to Stay

Nice clean and comfortable. Cute and decorated with care. So many throw pillows and soft blankets. Right downtown, walkable to everywhere. If there’s a live band at the Toucan, you’re going to be hear it. There’s everything you need, more like a hotel than someone sharing a their space with you. Still think a bath mat would be good, towels can be slippery.
