The staff was very unfriendly and unhelpful with the exception of Ayman (he is AWESOME). The phone in our room didn’t work and when I tried to call from my cell phone I was on hold for 10 minutes before I just hung up. The elevator also didn’t work during our stay. The pool is freezing even on an 85 degree day, so all the kids crowd into the hot tub, which made me not even get in. It is a great location and the room was clean, but this room definitely was not up to par.

I stayed at Residence Inn by Marriott Orlando Lake Buena Vista for 12 days, and this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. On the day of check-in, I was told the room was small, so I agreed to book an additional room at extra cost. Unfortunately, on the very first day, there was a serious leak in the bathroom. Water spread into the closet area, leaving a large amount of water on the floor and damaging several of my clothes and personal belongings. I contacted the front desk repeatedly throughout my entire stay to either fix the issue properly or move us to another room. Every time, I was told the hotel was full and that nothing could be done. Despite staying for nearly two weeks, the problem was never resolved, and we were forced to live with ongoing water damage. On the last day, I finally managed to speak with the hotel manager, who was polite and acknowledged the situation. He clearly promised that: • The entire cost of the additional room would be refunded • Parking charges would also be refunded However, after checking out: • No refunds were issued • I was actually charged additional money • There was no follow-up or confirmation Since then, I have tried contacting the hotel many times. Calls are passed from one person to another, no one takes responsibility, and there has been zero issue resolution. This stay involved: • Room maintenance failure causing property damage • No room change despite a long stay • Broken refund promises by management
